Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: We leave Cape Town and travel along the N1, through the Huguenot Tunnel and on to Route 62. Cape Route 62 is the tourist route in the Western Cape, offering the shorter, scenic alternative to the N2 highway. Enjoy a lunch stop (not included in cost) in Barrydale then continue on to Oudtshoorn where your first stop will be at an Ostrich Farm. Here you can enjoy an informative tour (included in cost)
Dinner and overnight in Oudtshoorn
Day 2: Enjoy a morning tour of the Cango Caves (included in cost) in Oudtshoorn before departing for Knysna. You will have the afternoon at leisure to explore this vibrant coastal town. You can enjoy lunch (not included in cost) at the Knysna Waterfront. While in Knysna why not take a trip on the Knysna Lagoon on the John Benn or Paddle Cruiser (not included in cost, subject to availability). Dinner and overnight accommodation in Plettenberg Bay
Day 3: Get up-close-and-personal with nature at the Knysna Elephant Park (included in cost).
With the help of our resident African elephants and our well-informed guides, you will learn about the sad and mystical story of the Knysna Elephants – the world’s Southern most elephants. After lunch (not included in cost), we travel to Plettenberg Bay for a visit to Birds of Eden (included in cost) and an optional Whale and Dolphin experience (not included in cost, subject to availability). Day 4: Early morning takes us to the beautiful Tsitsikamma National Park (included in cost). We enjoy lunch (not included in cost) in the Tsitsikamma National Park. Our tour terminates in Port Elizabeth at approximately 18h00.
