Your Itinerary:
Day 1: Christchurch – Picton
We start our journey over the North Canterbury Plains to the rugged coastline which leads to Kaikoura. Here we will visit a seal colony and have the opportunity of an optional excursion by helicopter or by boat to view the whales or the Dusky dolphins just off the coastline (weather permitting). We then continue our journey to the renowned wine producing area of Marlborough with the opportunity (time permitting) to stop at a local winery before making our way to our accommodation, in the picturesque seaside port of Picton.
Day 2: Picton – Nelson
Today we venture across the Whangamoa ranges into the Nelson region an area of natural beauty, the Abel Tasman National Park with it's beautiful golden sand beaches. There will be a chance to cruise on the tranquil waters and maybe stop off for a short scenic walk to enjoy this idyllic area. We will then continue back to Nelson renown for its gastronomic delights. For those who are not water or beach lovers, we can offer an Art or Wine Trail through this region, instead of The Abel Tasman National Park experience.
Day 3: Nelson – Christchurch
Today we make our way back to Christchurh via the Lewis Pass to Hanmer Springs, this beautiful alpine region with its natural geothermal springs, take time to soak in the springs or take a stroll around this naturally pretty town. When you have had enough soaking or just relaxing in the township we will then make our way back to Christchurch city. We will either drop you off at the airport on the way into Christchurch or Transfer you the next morning
