Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Depart for drive to Masai Mara. Afternoon game drives with overnight at lodge/camp. 8hrs depart from Nairobi to Masai Mara via Narok arriving in time for lunch at Mara Sarova or similar. Afternoon game drives in search of game. Overnight at Mara Sarova or similar.
Day 2: Full day spent on game drives with all meals at your lodge/camp. Dinner and overnight at Mara Sarova or similar.
Day 3: Drive to Lake Nakuru National Park; overnight at Flamingo Hill camp/Lion Hill Lodge. Early breakfast. Depart on game drive en route out of Mara for the drive to Nakuru National Park arriving in time for lunch. Afternoon game drives in search of game like, Rhino, lions, leopard, buffalo among others and a lot of bird species including thousands of Flamingos in the lake. Dinner and Overnight at Lion Hill Lodge/ Flamingo Hill Camp.
Day 4: Drive to Lake Naivasha with visit to Hell’s gate. Overnight Naivasha Simba or similar. Morning game drives returning back in time for breakfast. After breakfast drive to Lake Naivasha arriving in time for lunch. Spend afternoon at leisure with an option of playing golf or visit to Hell’s gate National Park. Dinner and overnight at Great Rift Valley Lodge or Naivasha Simba Lodge.
Day 5: Drive to Samburu National Reserve; overnight at Sarova Shaba or similar. Early morning boat ride before breakfast. After breakfast drive to Shaba National reserve arriving in time for lunch. Afternoon game drives in search of game with a chance to see rare Grevy zebra. Dinner and overnight at Sarova Shaba Lodge.
Day 6: Full day spent on game drives with all meals and overnight at your camp/lodge. Full day spent on game drives with a visit to Samburu National Reserve. All meals at Sarova Shaba Lodge.
Day 7: Drive to Nairobi with drop off at the Airport/city hotel. After breakfast depart with a short game drive en route out of the reserve for the drive to Nairobi with a drop off at your hotel/Airport or connect a flight to Mombasa for a beach holiday extension after lunch at carnivore restaurant.
Notes:
Upon check-in your camp/Lodge your guide will arrange a time convenient for your late afternoon game drive and on when you return to the lodge for dinner and over night, your guide will make suggestions about a departure time for a game drive in the morning. He will however take your direction on what time you would like to start your in depth game drives for the day or what time to depart for your next destination.
