Tour Itinerary:
Day 1, Saturday: Arrival in Lucca (within end of the morning), accommodation in hotel 4*, meeting with our personal traveler. Guided tour of the city - time for shopping/relax. Typical dinner in the city center.
Day 2, Sunday: Relax at the hotel park and swimming pool. Massages available on request. Light lunch. In the afternoon, transfer to Viareggio, where you will discover the beauties of Liberty style. Dinner at a beautiful restaurant of the coast.
Day 3, Monday: In the morning visit to the famous "Ville Lucchesi" extraordinary noble residences of the XVIII and XIX century. We will visit in particular Villa Torrigiani. Lunch and wine tasting in an ancient farm, producing wine and oil, on the beautiful hills of Lucca. In the afternoon, visit of the small rock of Montecarlo (when possible, we also go to S.Gennaro to visit the church which contains the unique sculpture work supposed to be Leonardo's). Dinner in a typical farmhouse on the hills.
Day 4, Tuesday: A day in Florence. Transfer to Florence and guided tour of the city center: visit of unusual places besides the most famous churches, palaces and squares. Lunch in a nice cafeteria on Arno river. In the afternoon, we finish the tour on Oltrarno side of river Arno, then you will have time available for shopping and relax. Dinner and after dinner show in a beautiful theater of the city center, where there are performances of music, theater and dance (the program must be checked when knowing dates of group arrival). Overnight in Lucca.
Day 5, Wednesday: A day of relax. In the morning, massages, riflexology, and walking in the park to pick up natural elements (flowers, leaves, little branches, stones, etc) that you will need for afternoon activities. Lunch at the hotel, prepared with typical local products. In the afternoon, art therapy and creativity: free your souls with arts, using what nature offers, colors and imagination. Dinner at the hotel.
Day 6, Thursday: A day in Garfagnana. In the morning we leave for Garfagnana, the mountain area rich of beautiful nice villages and still offering traditional handicrafts and food products. Top at "Ponte del Diavolo", the "Devil's Bridge", to admire the particular structure of the bridge whose shape, according to a local legend, is due to the Devil work... we are approaching Witches land!
Lunch in Castelnuovo Garfagnana, once under Ludovico Ariosto's rule, and where you can still admire the ancient castle rock. Here you will enjoy the traditional flavours of "zuppa di farro", a soup made with a special kind of wheat (of Roman origin) and other delicious dishes. Early afternoon you will leave for Fortezza delle Verrucole, extraordinary fortress on the mountains. On the way back to Lucca you will stop in Barga, a cosy town with a beautiful cathereal overlooking the valley. After visiting Barga, we will leave for Lucca. Dinner at the hotel.
Day 7, Friday: Free morning. In the afternoon make up session and hair styling: wouldn't you like to go back home with a new look or just to refresh your "traditional" one? Dinner in a glamor, very good restaurant on the coast.
Day 8, Saturday: Morning free to take a walk in the hotel neighborhoods, on the beautiful hills dividing Lucca from Pisa. Lunch together and greetings. Transfer to Pisa airport.
