This trip has been planned with a lot of wildlife considerations taken care of. In four days you would be able to sample what Kenya has to offer from its soft-powdered dust trails to it evergreen swamps. It's here that you expect to a capture a photo of an animal in front of Mount Kilimanjaro. From Amboseli, we shall drive through the concrete jungle of Nairobi to the majestic seventh wonder of the world waiting to reward us with all big safari discoveries that you have been dreaming of.
Here the Maasais have lived for ages with their livestock alongside game and their lives still stands strictly traditional and harmoniously unchanged. In three days game drives, a village walk and relaxing in between the activities time will awaken your safari spirit.
Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Leave Nairobi for Amboseli at 06:30 hours driving south through the volcanic strewn hills that is full of acacia bushes. Our arrival in Amboseli is in the better hours of the morning upon which we shall enjoy our first game drive on our way to the camp for lunch and a rest. We shall leave again in the afternoon for another wildlife drive in search of more game in front of Mount Kilimanjaro. We shall drive back to the camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Today we shall leave Amboseli for Maasai Mara at 06:30 hours enjoying our last game drive on our way out. Passing through Nairobi we will drop down to the escarpment of the Great Rift Valley having a stopover to capture some images of the Great Rift Valley. Drive past the picturesque volcanic mountains of Longonot and Suswa before continuing to the Mara. Our arrival in the Mara is before lunch and for this we will check in and have a rest while waiting to have lunch. We will have a Maasai village excursion after lunch to be followed by an afternoon game drive in search of the big five and other game including zebras, impalas, gazelles, elands, giraffes, warthogs and much more. Dinner and an overnight stay at the camp.
Day 3: An early wake up call for breakfast to be followed by a full day game drive in search of more wildlife and birds in the Mara. This total exploration will lead us all the way to 'the River of Life and Death', the Mara River, where we will see hippos and crocodiles basking lazily on the river banks. We will enjoy a picnic lunch will here while we enjoy the cool atmosphere of riverbanks. After lunch we will drive appreciating wildlife and sceneries on our way back to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 4: Leave for an early game drive or for those who fancy ballooning they will have this precious moment for an hour before enjoying a champagne breakfast in the bush. After all these, we will reunite and then leave the Maasailand for a drive back to Nairobi where this tour ends in the late afternoon.
