Of all nature wonders and bizarre happenings there is nothing that has comes closer to the unmistakable and unmatchable great wildebeest migration on the land's surface! Every year the nomadic wildebeest conglomerate and match northwards in search of lush vegetation and water in the welcoming Maasai Mara. For three months between the months of July, August and September these beasts roam the dappled plains of the majestic Maasai Mara. On their trails lurks danger apart from the attributed rewardsthe predators.

Up in the sky their movements are under constant observation for the dead or the weak ones that are then discarded very quickly by hawk-eyed vultures and other birds that do play the role of undertakers. Every peak season is an obvious opportunity not only to the hunters and the scavengers but also to the lazy, the weak and the unknown species of wildlife, unknown "species" of tour operators and of course the unexpected numbers of tourists! Please don't be left out let us be your host during these three months of the migration as the longest wildlife trek takes place in Africa.

Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: Leave Nairobi for Maasai Mara at 06:30 hours via the escarpment of the Great Rift Valley having a stopover on the route to capture some images of the Great Rift Valley. Move past the picturesque volcanic mountains of Longonot and Suswa before continuing to the Mara. Our arrival in the Mara is before lunch and for this we will check in and have a rest while waiting to have lunch. We will have a Maasai village excursion after lunch to be followed by an afternoon game drive in search of the big five and other game including zebras, impalas, gazelles, elands, giraffes, warthogs and much more. Dinner and overnight stay at the camp.

Day 2: An early wake up call for breakfast to be followed by a full day game drive in search of more wildlife and birds in the Mara. Our exploration today we lead us slowly through the busy wildebeests' jam all the way to 'the River of Life and Death', the Mara River where we will see hippos and crocodiles basking lazily on the banks as we enjoy our picnic lunch. After lunch we will drive appreciating wildlife and sceneries on our way back to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: An early wake up call for breakfast to be followed by a full day game drive in search of more wildlife and birds in the Mara. Our drive today will bring us more closer to the unknown lives of wildebeests and the hunters as we learn and appreciate their ecological importance of these beasts to the Mara/ Serengeti ecosystem. Again this exploration will lead us all the way to 'the River of Life and Death', the Mara River, where we will see hippos and crocodiles basking lazily on the river banks. We will enjoy a picnic lunch will here while we enjoy the cool atmosphere of riverbanks. After lunch we will drive appreciating more wildlife and sceneries on our way back to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4: Leave for an early game drive or for those who fancy ballooning they will have this precious moment for an hour before landing for a champagne breakfast in the bush. After all these, we will reunite and then leave the Maasailand for a drive back to Nairobi where this tour ends in the late afternoon.
