Let's journey along the Rift's escarpment then dropping gently down to its floor that is dotted with lakes. This safari will offer you some of the best unspoilt sceneries in Kenya. Driving on the escarpment is a dramatic experience before reaching Lake Nakuru past the rugged volcanic features in the countryside around Lake Elementaita.

Our mission in Nakuru is to visit its lake and watch its wildlife with a sizeable number of black and white rhinos among other wildlife. The park is also known for its great conglomeration of flamingos and other water birds. From Nakuru, we do a long drive past the extinct but sky-scraping Mount Longonot as we find our way to the majestic Maasai Mara where big game and the Maasai await us.

Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: Leave Nairobi for Maasai Mara at 06:30 hours via the escarpment of the Great Rift Valley having a stopover on the route to capture some images of the Great Rift Valley. Move past the picturesque volcanic mountains of Longonot and Suswa before continuing to the Mara. Our arrival in the Mara is before lunch and for this we will check in and have a rest while waiting to have lunch. We will have a Maasai village excursion after lunch to be followed by an afternoon game drive in search of the big five and other game including zebras, impalas, gazelles, elands, giraffes, warthogs and much more. Dinner and overnight stay at the camp.

Day 2: An early wake up call for breakfast to be followed by a full day game drive in search of more wildlife and birds in the Mara. This total exploration will lead us all the way to 'the River of Life and Death', the Mara River, where we will see hippos and crocodiles basking lazily on the river banks. We will enjoy a picnic lunch will here while we enjoy the cool atmosphere of riverbanks. After lunch we will drive appreciating wildlife and sceneries on our way back to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Leave Maasai Mara early in the morning after breakfast for Lake Naivasha. Our arrival here is in the afternoon where we will have a relaxed afternoon enjoying a walking safari in the Crater Lake wildlife sanctuary. This walk shall bring us very close to wildlife on foot and it has its own uniqueness in it. We shall later leave in the evening for a night game drive in search of the unknown lives of the nocturnal wildlife namely aardvark, African spring hare, bush babies, zorilla and much more. Back to the camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: After an early breakfast, we will leave Lake Naivasha yet for another lake this time Lake Nakuru. It's here that the ornithology fever is managed and the fear of rhinos is tamed! We are here not only for birds but also for the big 4 and other wildlife species. This is also a rhino breeding sanctuary where we will be able to view black and white rhinos and also the Rothschild's giraffe. Dinner and overnight at the camp.

Day 5: This day starts with us breaking camp for an early morning drive in search of more game. This could also be our best opportunity of spotting the least seen African cat, the leopard. We will move on to the vantage and hilarious Baboon's Cliff for a bird's eye view of the lake and its pink shoreline. From here we will go back to the camp for breakfast and then leave Lake Nakuru as we drive to Nairobi where this tour ends in the afternoon.
