Your Itinerary
Day 1: Hanoi.
Arrive at Hanoi and check in hotel. Discover Hanoi on a half-day city tour. End the first touch of Hanoi with Water Puppet Show which will make you appreciate the cultural background of Vietnam with the spectacular of performance.
Day 2: Hanoi-Ha Long.
Enjoy another fresh morning in Hanoi on continual city tour visiting Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and then his house built nearby. Visit One Pillared-Pagoda, built of wood on a single stone pillar, designed to resemble a lotus blossom which is a symbol of purity. In the afternoon, depart to Ha Long and overnight there.
Day 3: Ha Long-Hanoi.
Take a fresh breath on a morning boat cruise on Ha Long Bay among natural wonders. You will appreciate some surprising caves on the islands around the Bay. In the afternoon, leave Ha Long for Hanoi (overnight in Hanoi)
Day 4: Hanoi-Hue.
Take a morning flight to Hue and check in at hotel. Thereafter, you will turn back to the ancient imperial city of Hue. You will absorb the greatness of Imperial Citadel and then be overwhelmed by the solemn ambiance at Tu Duc’s Grave in the imperial city’s complex. Overnight in Hue.
Day 5: Hue-Hoi An.
Start a new day with a boat trip on the Perfume River to visit other attractions of Imperial City which includes Linh Mu Pagoda and Ming Mang’s Grave. Then leave Hue for Hoi An where you will be lost again in an ancient town. On the way to Hoi An, make a stop-over at Long Co Beach which offers a wonderful white beach and water as clean as crystal. Spectacular panorama of mountains and green valley at Hai Van pass, another stop-over. And overnight in Hoi An.
Day 6: Hoi An city tour.
Make an extensive excursion in Hoi An city which used to be an international trading town, offering a peaceful and inviting atmosphere. The sightseeing tour will lead you to experience the ancient town including Chinese Pagoda, Japanese bridge, Tan Ky old town. Then it will be your free time for shopping. Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 7: Hoi An-My Son-Hoi An.
Drive to My Son, one of the four sites in Vietnam to be selected as the cultural world heritages by UNESCO. My Son was a religious sanctuary of the Champa Kingdom from the 4th century to the XIV th century. Many temples and towers were built here and dedicated to the Kings and Buddhist divinities. Because of numerous wars and passage of time, only around 20 architectural works stand today and they are impressive references for Cham culture and history. You will visit and appreciate one of the holy temples in the site. Turn back to Hoi An for overnight.
Day 8: Hoi An-Danang-Hanoi.
In the morning, leave for Da Nang, there you will visit Da Nang highlighted attractions: Marble Mountain which provides spectacular view of Da Nang and the surrounding the Marble Mountains. Then you will go to the so called China Beach which was made famous by war and subsequent TV series, regarded as a good site for surfing as well.
Cham Museum, the last stop in Da nang and the end of the tour, will show you the excellent artworks and sculptures of Cham culture; there are now over 300 pieces which are all original works. Then fly back to Hanoi.
Day 9: Hanoi-Departure.
Enjoy your last minutes shopping in Hanoi before departure.
