Tour Itinerary:
Day 1:
Will arrive at Zanzibar A/port, meet and greet then transfer to Ocean Paradise hotel for overnight.
Day 2:
At 08:00 hrs after breakfast drive to Spice tour for 3 hrs: Since the abolition of slave trade, spices have been at the heart of Zanzibar enterprise. The sheer variety highlights the islands strategic location as well as the depth of cultural interaction. Indeed no trip to Zanzibar would be considered complete without a visit to our one of our carefully selected fine spice farms. Our spice tour offers you a chance the opportunity to indulge your senses with a kaleidoscope of smells, tastes, and textures. From the punch of a chili to the refreshing succulence of green coconut flesh, you also have an opportunity to purchase these exclusive spices straight from the source.
At 14:00 hrs drive to Jozani Forest tour for 3 hrs: Once the whole Island was covered in a rich tapestry of swamp forest, evergreen thicket and mangrove, now all that remains is the Jozani Forest National Park, the only national park in Zanzibar. Despite this fact Jozani still boasts an eclectic Bio-diversity, with many strange and wonderful animals residing in and below the canopy of old giants. Red Columbus Monkeys are the most famous inhabitants of the forest; sub-species only found on this island, they can be seen calmly lazing around or fooling amongst themselves in the branches. But keep your eyes open you might be lucky enough to see Sunnis (small dear), the rare Sykes Monkey, Chameleons or even a Leopard! Tourists will be taken on a guided tour of tropical forests, mahogany plantations and over a boardwalk through the nearby mangrove swamp. At 17 hrs back to Ocean Paradise for dinner and overnight.
Day 3:
Enjoy and Relax on the beach or swimming pool on the hotel, dinner and overnight at Ocean Paradise hotel.
Day 4:
At 08: 00 hrs drive to City tour for 3 hrs: Come and join our experienced guides as they take you through the narrow streets of the old town which exude memoirs, whispering tales of traders and merchants, every market, every hand carved wooden door, every house and every costume divulging a culture formed throughout centuries.
At 14:00 hrs drive to Pirson Island tour for 3 hrs: It hardly takes half an hour driving by motorized boat to reach the wonderful west based historic island. It is originally called Changuu and was owned by wealthy Arabian merchant who used it as detention center for disobedient slaves during slavery. The island has a fantastic white sandy beach and spectacular natural forest teeming with variety of birds and small animals such peacocks and giant tortoise etc. Another island famous for its diving and snorkeling. At 17 hrs back to the Ocean Paradise for dinner and overnight.
Day 5:
Enjoy and Relax on the beach or swimming pool on the hotel, dinner and overnight at Ocean Paradise hotel.
Day 6:
At 07:30 hrs drive to Safari blue for full day tour, later back to the hotel for dinner and overnight. The tour begins after your breakfast with a transfer to the South West of Zanzibar called Fumba, a 40 minute drive from Stone Town. You will experience the best boat excursion in Zanzibar. We will take you by boat to see the dolphins, sandbanks, islands and coral reefs of Menai Bay, a beautiful conservation area.
Safari blue is a full day and includes snorkeling equipment with guides and instructors, ice cold sodas and mineral water, a delicious Zanzibari sea food lunch with grilled fish and slipper lobster, fruit tasting and coffee and tea will be served. We round the day off by returning to Fumba by traditional sailboat. At 16:30 hrs back to the hotel for dinner and overnight.
Days 7 - 9:
Enjoy and Relax on the beach or swimming pool on the hotel, dinner and overnight at Ocean Paradise hotel.
Day 10:
Transfer from Ocean Paradise hotel to the A/port to catch flight back home.
