Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: Buenos Aires:
Private transfer to your hotel, the daringly unique Faena Hotel + Universe, located in the stylish Puerto Madero neighborhood. In the afternoon discover the city with your local host. Overnight Buenos Aires.

Day 2: Buenos Aires:
Today, you'll visit San Telmo, one of the city's oldest neighborhoods. With magnificent architecture, lively street cafés, antique shops and art exhibitions, San Telmo is an interesting barrio for a daylong stroll. You will have time to walk around, explore the various antique and vintage shops, and watch spontaneous tango dancers. Tonight you'll attend a spectacular tango show, and maybe take a class yourself. Overnight Buenos Aires.

Day 3: Buenos Aires:
Spend the day shopping and exploring the trendy Palermo neighborhood. Stroll through its beautiful parks, stop at sidewalk cafés and continue on to museums and shopping. Palermo is known for its chic boutiques, gourmet restaurants and happening nightlife. Tonight sample wine at the Faena Hotel + Universe, followed by fabulous Argentine cuisine. Overnight Buenos Aires.

Day 4: Buenos Aires / Salta Province:
Airport transfer for flight to Salta, the capital of the province of Salta. Your driver and host will meet you at the airport, where you will begin your scenic four-hour drive through the Calchaquí Valley to Molino de Cachi Adentro. This lovely estate has a boutique winery and fantastic hosts, who are welcoming and eager to introduce you to their home and winery. The drive passes through the Escoipe Gorge, Bishop’s Slope, the Enchanted Valley and Cardones National Park. Overnight Molino de Cachi Adentro.

Days 5 and 6: Salta Province:
Continue your drive, passing by the quaint village of Molinos. Then, arrive to Bodega Colomé, a boutique winery with verandas in all the rooms. Colomé is also the highest vineyard in the world. The location is spectacular, and the perfect place to spend an extra night. On your full day here, horseback ride around the property, take long walks, enjoy an asado (bbq) or just relax in the sunshine. The bodega also has a biodynamic farm, an art museum and, of course, fantastic wines. Overnight Colomé.

Day 7: Salta Province:
Your driver and host will pick you up as you continue your journey to Cafayate, passing the villages of Seclantás, San Carlos and Tolombón, and the Arrow Ravine. Spend the night at Patios de Cafayate, an elegant lodge with stately white architecture, archways and patios. This is the perfect place to sample the specialty wine, the sweet white Torrentés. Inca ruins are located nearby, and the lodge has a spa if all this wine tasting has worn you out. Overnight Cafayate.

Day 8: Salta Province:
Return to Salta, driving along the Cafayate Gorge, which has intriguing rock formations. You’ll also travel through the Lerma Valley. Spend the night at the romantic House of Jasmines, a lovely estate that is more than 100 years old, and is owned by Robert DeNiro. All the rooms are decorated in impeccable white, and the grounds are filled with aromatic roses and jasmine. Overnight Salta.

Day 9: Salta Province / Buenos Aires:
Catch your morning flight to Buenos Aires, and transfer back to the Faena Hotel + Universe, or connect to evening flight home. Overnight Buenos Aires.

Day 10: Buenos Aires / Home:
Spend the day doing sightseeing or shopping before being transferred to the airport for your flight home.
