Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: Buenos Aires:
Arrival at Ezeiza International Airport and private transfer to your hotel, the cozy Costa Petit Hotel, located in the Palermo neighborhood. Palermo is a great area to explore, since it is near large parks that are perfect for running, roller-blading or walking. During afternoon hours, you will discover the gilded spots of the city, in the company of your local host – you will be on a bicycle. You'll visit different, picturesque neighborhoods, all with their own character, and appreciate some of Buenos Aires’ most emblematic buildings, avenues, and museums. Overnight in Buenos Aires.

Day 2: Buenos Aires:
Today, you'll visit San Telmo, one of the city's oldest neighborhoods. With magnificent architecture, lively street cafés, antique shops and art exhibitions, San Telmo is an interesting barrio for a daylong stroll. You will have time to walk around, explore the various antique and vintage shops, and watch spontaneous tango dancers. Tonight you'll attend a spectacular tango show, and maybe take a class yourself.

Day 3: Buenos Aires:
Today you'll visit Tigre, a riverside village an hour away from Buenos Aires' downtown. You'll jump on a private speedboat with your captain, and experience the magnitude of the Rio de la Plata, navigating its channels and appreciating the city from a distance. You'll make a stop at one of the delta islands, where you will enjoy a delicious lunch in a frame of nature, peace, and quiet. Afterwards, you may choose to walk around the Mercado de Frutos, where rustic shops offer regional goods and precious items, hand-made by the people who live in the delta islands. You will be back at the hotel early in the evening.

Day 4: Buenos Aires:
Enjoy the Argentinean countryside traditions. Today, you will experience the polo lifestyle, one of Argentina’s most famous sports. You'll go on a private visit to one of the world’s most traditional polo clubs in the company of your local host, via helicopter, to maximize your time in the area. There, you will be introduced to the profetas (polo pros) and the grooms, and watch an exciting practice, as well as have a polo lesson. You will also enjoy a delicious outdoor asado (bbq). Stay at Estancia El Rocío, the top estancia for experiencing polo.

Day 5: Buenos Aires:
Spend the day participating in traditional activities around the ranch – go on a sulky ride, bicycle around the property, horseback ride, go hunting with an expert guide or have another polo lesson. You’ll dine on delicious food and have the chance to hear folkloric music. In the late afternoon return to Buenos Aires for an overnight at the Costa Petit Hotel.

Day 6: Buenos Aires / Mendoza:
During morning you will be transferred to the airport, where you will fly to Mendoza. Once in Mendoza, you will be transferred to the Rancho’e Cuero estancia, located 16 km from the base of the Nivero del Plata glacier and 2,454 m above sea level. One of the main attractions of the lodge is the sensation of being part of your surroundings so that you can fully appreciate the landscapes and outdoor activities.

Day 7: Mendoza:
Spend the day touring some of the myriad vineyards in the area, where you’ll have the chance to savor the traditional Malbec, as well as other delicious Argentine varieties. Also explore the vineyards with your host, and learn more about the winemaking process. In the afternoon, explore the Rancho’e Cuero property on horseback.

Day 8: Mendoza:
Horseback ride to the Rancho’e Cuero rock, which is 3,222 m above sea level. Its protruding shape provides shelter in case of rain; along the tour you’ll have unique views of the Nivero del Plata glacier. Don’t forget your camera, because along the way you might see guanaco herds. Once you’re back at the lodge, dine on homemade, hearty dishes. Typical meals include Mendocino cooking and vegetables harvested from the garden.

Day 9: Mendoza:
Ride to the Nivero del Plata glacier, 4,329 m above sea level. Located on the south wall of El Plata Mountain, it has a 4 km base and a 2,000 m vertical wall. An emerald lagoon reflects the glacier, and forms an impressive cascade. Along the trip you’ll see condors and guanaco, along with other native flora and fauna. Trekking and fishing, or just relaxing, complete the experience.

Day 10: Mendoza:
Today visit nearby villages nestled in the mountains, and continuing on to the Puente del Inca, 2,720 meters above sea level. Here, Las Cuevas River has drilled through the mountain, forming a natural bridge. From a nearby natural viewpoint you’ll be able to see Aconcagua Volcano, and an unpaved road leads to the Horcones Lagoon and Provincial Park of Aconcagua. Weather permitting; you can climb to the Christ the Redeemer Monument, at 4,200 meters.

Day 11: Mendoza / Villa la Angostura:
Catch your flight this morning to Patagonia, connecting through Buenos Aires. You’ll be met at the airport in Bariloche and transferred to Las Balsas Relais Chateau, a hideaway located on a private cove overlooking Nahuel Huapi Lake near the town of Villa la Angostura. This is the ideal place for an invigorating vacation amidst forests and snow-capped peaks. Today have a relaxing time visiting Villa la Angostura and doing some shopping.

Day 11: Villa la Angostura:
Bicycle, hike, horseback ride or take a boat journey to the Quetrihué Peninsula with its beautiful arrayanes forest (myrtles), unique in the world, and with the red bark that inspired Disney’s forests in “Bambi”. Horseback ride along the shores of the lake, up the mountains to have incredible views, or in Estancia Huemul with its forests filled with red stag. Water sports include windsurfing, water skiing and sailing on the lake.

Day 12: Villa la Angostura:
Take a day trip to float the Limay River, with a picnic lunch provided along the way. In the evening, relax with a cocktail on the beach or pier to watch the sunset. Relax in the Jacuzzi and heated swimming pool, then dine on local specialties like smoked trout with fresh vegetables and memorable pastries.

Day 13: Villa la Angostura:
Cruise the Nahuel Huapi Lake today. Begin your journey at Pañuelo Port, where the Modesta Victoria catamaran will take you past Centinela Island, the entrance to the national park. After sailing for an hour, arrive to Puerto Cántaros, in the Valdiviana rainforest, reached by a path that takes you to the Los Cántaros Lagoon. From this scenic viewpoint you’ll be able to see the waterfall. Once back in the catamaran, you’ll cross the bay to Puerto Blest, where you’ll have lunch, then continue to Puerto Alegre by bus, where you’ll board the catamaran again to navigate Lake Frías. Mount Tronador’s snow-capped silhouette stands out, from the surroundings; return to Puerto Blest to return to Bariloche, and back to Las Balsas.

Day 14: Bariloche / Buenos Aires:
Catch your flight back to Buenos Aires, where you will be transferred to the Costa Petit Hotel. Dine at one of Palermo’s delicious restaurants and enjoy drinks at a trendy bar on Plaza Serrano.

Day 15: Buenos Aires / Home:
Your flight will most likely leave in the evening. Spend the day doing any last minute shopping (those boots – that tango painting – that leather jacket), before being transferred to the airport for your flight home. Get ready to share your photos and experiences when you get home!
