Secluded of the urban area of Rio de Janeiro in the middle of a splendid nature are located two of the most beautiful beaches of Rio. Those beaches are situated inside an ecological protected area with an exuberant vegetation of the Atlantic rainforest. During this tour we'll visit two beaches: Prainha (also known as the paradise of surfing in Rio) small beach settled between high rocky walls and Grumari, gorgeous and larger beach with very nice clear water. In Grumari there's even a small section designated to naturism called Abricó.
Afterwards we continue the tour visiting an old Estate of the Brazilian famous landscape designer Burle Marx. He donated his terrain containing more than 3.500 different plants and trees for the government in order to make it into a Museum and Ecological Center.
Museu do Pontal: After the visit to the Burle Marx Estate, the last spot to be visited this day, but surely not less important at all is one the largest and most important collections of Brazilian popular art (more than 5.000 piece of work), founded by a French artist named Jacques van de Beuque.
