This tour has the main goal of showing deeply the origins of the famous fabulous rhythm called Samba. The samba began in the city of Rio de Janeiro done by the fusion of different elements from the African percussion till string instruments. During this tour we'll visit the historic site of Pedra do Sal (Salt Stone) on the foot of the Conceição Hill (historic hill in the city center) where the first samba parties were held in Rio led by ex-slaves who worked at the docks.
Afterwards we go further to one location named Cidade do Samba (The City of Samba). At this site, built in 2006, specially designed to shelter the big Samba Schools (Samba associations who get engaged in organizing the big carnival parades) we'll have the opportunity of seeing more of the background of the carnival of Rio by discovering the way the big floats and costumes are made. Finishing the tour we go further for a visit to the specially built stadium for the yearly held carnival parade: the Sambadrome.
