Halibut are in season all summer. We generally are fishing within 15-30 minutes of leaving the harbor and enjoy very good success. Many days the whales are feeding around the boat while we fish. The former state record halibut, a 440 pounder, was landed near Hoonah in 1978. All gear and tackle are provided, all you have to bring is your muscles!

Airfare is not included in the tour price.
Costs are on a per person basis and start at $165 for 1/2 day trips to $220 for our full day trips. A 6% sales tax is collected on all tours and is not included in these prices. Fishing licenses and king halibut stamps are available on board the boat.
