Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Drive to lakes: - Ziway: Located about 160 km south of Addis Ababa. It is the largest lake of the chain. Bird life include: The long tailed cormorant, darter, Saddle bill stork, greater Jacana, African fish eagle, green pigeon, black leaded oriole, wood hoope and others. - Abyata: The most famous for its bird life; this lake hosts flamingos, African fish eagles, Egyptian geese, white-necked cormorants, marabou storks, Sacred ibis and may others. - Shala: The deepest Ethiopian Rift Valley Lake, Lake Shala, is home to the Africa's most important breeding colony of great pelicans. - Langano: A popular resort for swimming, bird watching and camping; lake Langano is a bilharzia-free lake, 210 km away from the capital. See the biggest bird sanctuaries in East Africa o/n hotel at Langano Day 2: Drive Langano - Wondogenet. Visit the forest, watch the bird life, bath in the hot spring and drive to Awassa o/n hotel. Day 3: Visit the fish market in Awassa and drive back to Addis Ababa. Notes:
