Drive to Nagarkot, a hill resort (above 7000 ft a.m.s.l) for a Fantastic Himalayan sun-rise view. Drive back to Bhaktapur, a medieval city, once a separate Kingdom, famous for its wood and stone carving, five storeyed Nyatapola Temple and Golden Gate. On return, stop at Thimi, a potters' village famous for earthen pottery and also for papier-mache mask making center. A good purchase for presentation to youngsters on returning home. Enjoy Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swayambhu Temple, a Buddhist Pilgrimage Center and the Museum.
Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrival Katmandu. Welcome reception at Tribhuvan International Airport and transfer to hotel. Afternoon: free time. Evening: Cultural Program. Typical folk-dances of different tribes of Nepal.
Day 2: Early Morning drive to Nagarkot, a hill resort (above 7000 ft a.m.s.l) for fantastic Himalayan sun-rise view. Visit Bhaktapur five stored Nyatapola Temple and Golden Gate, Katmandu Durbar Square, Swayambhu Temple, a Buddhist Pilgrimage Center, and the Mu.
Day 3: Morning: Patan Durbar Square, an ancient Kingdom City. Afternoon: drive to Dakshin Kali Temple, 20 km. South of Kathmandu (no ff animal sacrifices on Tuesdays/Saturdays and Long Pooja Holidays).
Day 4: Transfer to airport for International Departure.
