DAY 1
07:00am-9:00am: Drive early morning towards the west from Kampala via Masaka -Mbarara road and have a stopover at the equator for photographs.
3:00 – 4:00pm we will also have a lunch stopover at Mbarara town at Lake View hotel
4:00pm – 6:00pm: Proceed to Queen Elizabeth National Park following the mystical Rwenzori Mountain range for much of the journey. Over night will be at the Mweya peninsular campsite.
DAY 2:
6:00 – 9:30Have an early morning game drive. This park provides an excellent opportunity to see Lions, Leopards, Giant Forest Hogs, Cape Buffaloes, Elephants, Defassa Waterbucks, Uganda Kobs, Topi and Bush bucks and many more. Get back to the camp for breakfast
After lunch, Enjoy the unique 2-hour boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel and into Lake Edward. This trip passes through possibly the highest concentration of Hippos known in the world and many animals may be seen drinking and resting at the water's banks. This launch cruise offers an excellent platform for photography, bird watching and game viewing, ideal for the Uganda safari .The prolific bird life is colourful and stupendous with well over 550 resident species.
After the launch cruise go for a forest walk at Maramagambo forest have the opportunity to see the oldest trees still existing in Uganda, get to also see the bat cave the home of pythons and wide rage of bats. Get back to the camp for overnight rest
DAY 3: After a very early morning breakfast, head to Kampala. Lunch will be had enroute at fort portal town and arrive Kampala late in the evening this will mark the end of your tour.
