Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrive at the Kilimanjaro International Airport and transfer to your hotel for overnight - bed & breakfast.

Day 2: Drive to Marangu Gate (1800m) for registration, then begin your journey, hiking to Mandara Hut (2800 masl) which takes about 3-4 hours.

Day 3: Continue climb from Mandara Hut (2800m) to Horombo Hut (3850m) taking about 5-6 hours.

Day 4: From Horombo hut (3850m) to Kibo hut (4800m) takes about a 5-6 hour trek.

Day 5: In the middle of the night (yes, you read that right!), ascend to the summit, Uhuru Peak(19,341 ft /5895m) via Gillman's point (5695m) takes approximately a 7-8 hour climb. You have achieved your dream, reaching the "Roof of Africa"! After savoring the achievment for a bit and enjoying the spectacular view, you realize how much work you have yet to do. You start your descent to the Horombo hut (3850m) requiring an additional 2-3 hour hike.

Day 6: From Horombo hut to the Marangu gate, takes about a 5-6 hour journey then to Moshi relaxing at the hotel, getting a well deserved shower and rest, then gearing up for the adventures still ahead.

Day 7: Drive from Moshi to Manyara National Park for game viewing of approximately 4 hours. Overnight at lodge.

Day 8: Drive to Serengeti National Park via Olduvai Gorge (Archeological site) game drive on the way to lkoma permanent tented camp.

Day 9: After breakfast venture into the Corners of Wilderness Serengeti for full day game viewing. Overnight at lkoma permanent tented camp.

Day 10: After breakfast drive to Ngorongoro National Park for 1/2 day game drive. Overnight at lodge.

Day 11: Drive to Tarangire National Park for game viewing then in the mid-afternoon drive to the airport to catch flight back home or to Zanzibar (option) or to for overnight. Bed & breakfast.
