Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Evening departure from Retiro bus terminal in Buenos Aires to Puerto Iguazu. Our buses are fully equipped with toilet, heating and air conditioning. Seats are 180 degrees reclining and Dinner is provided aboard.
Day 2: Breakfast aboard the bus. Upon arrival in Puerto Iguazu in the late morning, you will be taken to your selected hotel. Time at leisure to enjoy the swimming pool. Dinner.
day 3: After breakfast, you will leave in a full day excursion to the Argentine side of the Iguazu Falls. You will be guided around the several paths inside the National Park to have incredible view of the more than 200 falls. At noon, you will have free time for lunch and the chance to take the optional Great Adventure navigation which takes you for a ride around the falls, the boat even stays for a while underneath a fall! In the afternoon, you will board the train that leads you to the greatest fall in the park: the Devil’s Throat. Return to the hotel in the late afternoon. Dinner.
Day 4: Breakfast. Morning half day excursion to the Brazilian side of the Iguazu Falls from where you will get panoramic views of the falls visited the previous day. Return to the hotel in the afternoon. Dinner.
Day 5: Breakfast. At appropriate time in the afternoon, you will be taken to the terminal to take the cama bus to Rio de Janeiro. Our buses are fully equipped with toilet, heating and air conditioning. Seats are reclining and Dinner is provided aboard.
Day 6: Breakfast aboard the bus. Upon arrival in Rio de Janeiro at noon, you will be taken to your selected hotel. You can enjoy the white sand beaches of Copacabana and Ipanema during the afternoon. At night, we recommend the neighborhood of Lapa for a couple of drinks.
Day 7: After breakfast, you will leave in a half day guided tour to visit Rosinha, the largest Favela (shanty town) in South America. You will walk through its narrow streets to interact with locals and experience their way of living, at the end of the tour you will visit the Culture House. Return to the hotel in the afternoon.
Day 8: Breakfast. Day at leisure to enjoy any of the available activities.
Day 9: Breakfast. At appropriate time, you will be transferred to the airport or bus terminal. You can continue your trip to Buenos Aires, Pantanal or you can extent your stay in Rio to visit the Corcovado, the Sugar Loaf, Ilha Grande and multiple other interesting sites.
