Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: We will depart early through the Avenue of the Volcanoes. Depending on the day of the week, we will visit one of the markets held along the way, and then we will arrive to the colonial city of Riobamba. We will have a short tour of this city, including the Main Square, the Cathedral, and the Town Market. Later we will visit the nearby town of Guano, where we can see how the rugs and carpets are made. We will spend the night in a Hostera. Day 2: We will depart very early, an have a very interesting day admiring the changes in the landscape. Witness with your very own eyes the big changes from Northern Andes Highlands, to Southern ones. If possible, we will have the chance to ride in the famous train from Alaus to Chanchn passing the Devils Nose and its amazing switchbacks. In the afternoon we will stop at the Caari ruins, later Inca Ruins, of Ingapirca. Then we continue to Cuenca. We will spend the night in a Hotel. Day 3: We will embark on a tour of this town that has had a heavy Spanish influence. The tour includes Caldern Square, the New Cathedral, the Flower Market, the Three Cultures ruins, the Broken Bridge, and the hill of Turi to have a wonderful view the city from up there. Then we will have lunch. Later we will pay a visit to one the straw-hat factories, wrongly called Panama hats. We will return to Quito by plane, on an evening flight. Notes: Price Includes:
