Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: Addis Ababa. Arrive Addis. City tour of Addis (St. George, Trinity Cathedral, National Museum). Hotel: Damu or Ghion. Includes: (L), (D).

Day 2: Addis Ababa – Arba Minch. Drive through the superb mountain terrain to Arba Minch with forty springs. Hotel: Swaynes Hotel. Includes: (B), (L), (D).

Day 3: Arba Minch – Nech-Sar National Park – Lake Chamo Cruising - Chencha - Arba Minch. Drive to Nech-Sar National Park. Then at the beautiful Lake Chamo, boat excursion to see huge crocodiles and hippos. In the afternoon, visit Chencha to meet Dorze people. Hotel: Swaynes. Includes: (B), (L), (D).

Day 4: Arba Minch – Jinka. Drive to Jinka and on the way; visit the people of Ari, Banna and Tsemay. If on Thursday, visit the Key Afar market filled with Erbore, Tsemays people and more. Hotel: Goh. Includes: (B), (L), (D).

Day 5: Jinka – Mago National Park - Jinka. Drive to Mago National Park and climb the Mursi Hills to meet the Mursi people and see their lifestyles. Hotel: Goh Hotel. Includes: (B), (L), (D).

Day 6: Jinka – Turmi. Drive to Turmi and visit the town of Hamer people and if on Monday, explore Turmi market and meet the Hamer, Karo, Dessanech people and more. If on Tuesday or Saturday, visit the Dimeka market and meet the Hamer, Tsemay people and more. If on Saturday, drive Jinka Market and meet Mursi people. Hotel: Campsite in Turmi. Day 7: Turmi – Dessanech - Turmi. Drive to Dessanech and across the Omo river by the traditional boat to visit the Dessanech people in the other side of the river. Hotel: Campsite in Turmi. Includes: (B), (L), (D).

Day 8: Turmi – Elbore Village – Konso Village – Arba Minch. Drive via Elbore and Konso people’s villages and back to Arba Minch. Hotel: Swaynes. Includes: (B), (L), (D).

Day 9: Arba Minch – Addis Ababa. Drive back to Addis Ababa. On the way, see the Oromo people’s farming practices. Hotel: Damu or Ghion. Includes: (B), (L), (D).

Day 10: At Addis Ababa, visit Merkato (the largest open air market), Ethnological Museum and Souvenir Shop. At night, dinner with Ethiopian traditional shows. Hotel: Damu or Ghion. Includes: (B), (L), (D).

Day 11: Free time in Addis and then transfer to airport. Hotel: NO. Includes: (B), (L), (D).
