Andrea Hardbattle was the 1st born to her Yorkshire - Policeman father and 1/2 bushmen mother. Andrea was taught from the very early days by her grandmother the traditional ways of Bushmen life until the age of 15 when she was sent to England together with her 3 siblings to complete their schooling, after the passing of their father. After more than 20 years Andrea decided to return to her farm and now wishes to invite you to share her experiences, (passed on by her grandmother and Bushmen family) of the traditional day to day living of the Bushmen. Charmaine Freeman shares the passion of Andrea and would like to teach you together with Andrea the ancient traditions of years gone by.
Charmaine has studied and practiced many healing modalities and wishes to pass this onto you as well. Come and live with the Bushmen in Ghanzi for 4 days from there we will travel to Tsodilo Hills to explore the ancient rock art of the Bushmen and the many 'myths' associated with Tsodilo. Here we will perform ceremonies with the Bushmen and meditation in ancient sacred caves. The last day we will stay at a lodge en route to Maun where you will experience a trip down the river in a Mokoro "dug out canoe" and reflect on your days gone by with the Bushmen. Join Andrea and Charmaine on this extra ordinary journey. Notes: Note: Tour cost does not include airfare from your home town to Gaborone, or Maun Botswana.
