Tour Itinerary:
Day 1.
Travel from your home/hotel in Gauteng via Mpumalanga to the historic town of Pilgrim's Rest. Drive along the picturesque Panorama Route to view God's Window , the Blyde River Canyon and the awesome Three Rondawels. At Tremisana Game Lodge , unwind at the bar or enjoy a refreshing dip in our sparkling pool. After a traditional dinner around a crackling fire , board the open Landcruiser for an exciting spotlit Night Drive, your first experience of the varied fauna and flora of Africa
Day 2.
Today we enjoy a full day of game-viewing and bird watching in Kruger from our open Game viewer. The custom-built Game viewer guarantees a total wildlife experience - excellent sight , sound and scent opportunities. Your elevated vantage point allows for brilliant photographic opportunities. After a picnic breakfast, we explore the open plains around Satara , renowned for large herds of giraffe, zebra and various antelope that attract the highest concentration of lions in Africa.
Day 3.
After breakfast, visit Moholoholo Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre for orphaned, injured and abandoned animals. Enjoy close-up encounters with birds of prey and large carnivores. After lunch, return to Tremisana for a short siesta before embarking on a late afternoon game walk. Our armed ranger will identify various spoor and droppings and share many fascinating secrets of the smaller denizens of the bush while keeping an eye out for the Big Five. Board the open Landcruiser for an exciting sunset drive. Return to camp, spotlighting nocturnal animals on the way.
Day 4.
Another full day of game viewing in the Kruger, this time exploring the Big Tusker zone around Letaba. Seeing one of these giant leviathans close-up from our open Gameviewer is an awesome experience. At Letaba, visit the Elephant Museum which houses the original tusks of the "Magnificent Seven". Later on we visit the archeological site at Masorini and complete the day by watching the sun set over Sable Dam.
Day 5.
Enjoy an early morning bush walk with our armed ranger. If you are lucky, you may come across big game on foot - a truly exhilarating experience. After a hearty breakfast, there is an opportunity to purchase some memorabilia from our shop and take photos of the luxuriant lush gardens at Tremisana.
Day 6.
GAme viewing in the morning. We return to Gauteng in the late afternoon. Airport drop off by arrangement.
