Lake Manyara National Park is one of Tanzania’s smallest parks, its vegetation is diverse, ranging from savanna to marshes and acacia woodland, enabling it to support a variety of habitats. Tarangire is a beautiful area stretching south-east of Lake Manyara around the Tarangire River. Ngorongoro Crater is one of the world's greatest natural spectacles; its magical setting and abundant wildlife never fail to enthrall visitors. It borders the Serengeti National Park to the north and west. The Serengeti is famous for its lions, but you’re also likely to see Thomson’s and Grant’s gazelles, elands, impalas, klipspringers, and warthogs, as well as rich birdlife. One of the Serengeti’s main attractions is the annual migration of wildebeest herds in search of better grazing. Arusha National Park, although one of Tanzania’s smallest parks, is one of its most beautiful and topographically varied. Animal life in the park is abundant. You can be fairly certain of sighting zebras, giraffes, waterbucks, reedbucks, klipspringers, gooses, dik- diks, warthogs, baboons, and vervet and colobus monkeys, although there is dense vegetation in some areas.
Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Arusha/Arusha National Park
Depart for Arusha National park after breakfast with packed lunch, game drive and walking towards the Mountain (walking cost extra charges). Late afternoon drive back to Arusha for overnight at Kibo Palace hotel/ Mountain Village - FB
Day 2: Arusha/Tarangire
After break drive to Tarangire National park, game viewing with a break for lunch, dinner and overnight at Tarangire campsite/ Tarangire Safari lodge/ Tarangire Sopa lodge – FB
Day 3: Tarangire/Lake Manyara
An early morning game drive looking for predators hunting, return for breakfast then depart for lake Manyara, hot lunch then afternoon game drive, dinner and overnight Lake Manyara campsite/ Lake Manyara wildlife lodge/ lake Manyara Serena lodge – FB
Day 4: Lake Manyara/Serengeti
Depart for Serengeti in the morning with picnic lunch, stop at Olduvai Gorge for lunch and exploring the site. In afternoon proceed to Serengeti game en-route, arrive Seronera late afternoon for overnight at Serengeti Campsite/ Seronera Wildlife lodge/ Serengeti Serena lodge – FB
Day 5: Serengeti
Spend full day exploring the Serengeti plains with picnic lunch, late afternoon back to the lodge or camp for overnight at Serengeti Campsite/ Seronera Wildlife lodge/ Serengeti Serena lodge – FB
Day 6: Serengeti
An early morning game drive, return for breakfast and leisure, hot lunch at the lodge/camp, another game driver around 4.00 pm dinner and overnight at Serengeti Campsite/ Seronera Wildlife lodge/ Serengeti Serena lodge – FB
Day 7: Serengeti
After break fast heading to the western part of Serengeti (corridor area) arrive for lunch then afternoon game drive dinner and overnight at Serengeti Campsite/ Seronera Wildlife lodge/ Serengeti Serena lodge – FB
Day 8: Ngorongoro
Descend to the crater after breakfast with picnic lunch for a fully day crater tour. Back to the lodge/camp late afternoon for overnight at Ngorongoro Campsite/ Ngorongoro wildlife lodge/ Ngorongoro Serena lodge – FB
Day 9: Ngorongoro/Arusha
After break fast drive back to Arusha.
