Day 1: Arrival to the capital of Moldova. Accommodation in the hotel.
Day 2: Visiting the “National Institute of Grapes and Wine”. There you can taste wines made from absolutely new Moldovan grape varieties. At the “Vinuri-Ialoveni” winery you will get acquainted with the specific features of the Sherry winemaking, which is considered to be the king among the apperetives. Visiting “The Golden collection” in the wine cellars of “Mileshtii Michi”, you will be captivated by two million bottles of harmonious wines that are waiting their time…
Day 3: Visit to the “Vitis-Hinceshti” winery, founded by the famous landlord Manuk Bei in 1866–1867, which still keeps its century traditions and technological secrets. Further on, visit to Vulcaneshti town, situated in the South part of Moldova, where the modern giant “Aurvin” winery is located. As for the technological equipment, the Aurvin enterprise is one of the best equipped in Moldova.
Day 4: Visit to the “Cricova” subterranean “wine town” that is known for its exceptional microclimate, length and depth. The fascination of the tasting halls will make you forget about time and depressing routine. The first cosmonaut Jurii Gagarin being in one of these halls said: “ It would be easier to take off into the space than to leave Cricova halls”. Dinner in the Trebujeni village. You will have the opportunity to feel the aroma of fresh baked bread and to drink homemade wine poured from barrels. You will also visit the handicrafts museum and will get to know folk songs and dances.
Day 5: Visiting the “Kvint” Tiraspol Winery and Distillery, one of the oldest Moldavian winery established in 1897, which produces a large variety of cognacs from Very Special till Extra Old ones followed by a trip to the tower-museum in Ternovca village, an extraordinary building in the shape of a bottle, where the unique private collection of wines from all over the world is exhibited.
Day 6: Setting out for the Hincu convent, established in 1678. The convent lies in the heart of the century-old forests, called “Kodry” and is a leading convent in Moldova in respect of the organization and the number of visitors and guests. Visit to the Capriana monastery- the symbol of the national renascence and one of the oldest monasteries in Moldova. You’ll have the possibility to hear the stories about ancient traditions and special technologies of monastic wine production that reached our days. As evidence of that you will be offered a glass of wine sanctified by the priest.
Day 7: Visit to the “Casa Vinului” that means the “Wine House”. It is located in the picturesque and green part of Chisinau. After a sightseeing tour of the complex that includes the Crama, Via Moldovei, Six Continents, and Divin Club halls, accompanied by a qualified specialist, you will have the opportunity to taste the most refined wines and cognacs on professional level and to dinner in one of the “Casa Vinului” restaurants.
