Ship Profile: The 1,623-ton M/V Santa Cruz, the only ship originally built for Galapagos Islands cruising, has been completely renovated and redecorated. The "new" Santa Cruz has 48 cabins and she was redesigned and refurbished inside and out.
On the Boat Deck there are two new luxury master suites with double beds and a private balcony and two junior suites (with twin beds that can be joined to form a double) have been added as well as six superior-class cabins with twin beds. These cabins give the ship a very high standard of accommodations in comfort and style.
All the cabins and bathrooms on all decks are renovated and provide more choices, including single, double, triple and quad accommodations. The Sun Deck on the M/V Santa Cruz was lengthened and a deck-bar and Jacuzzi were installed, along with an observation area for dolphin and whale watching. The dining room, lounge and bar were also elegantly remodeled and there is a reading room and library were added.
Tour Itinerary
Day 1: AM - Fly from Quito or Guayaquil to Baltra Island and board the M/V Santa Cruz. PM - North Seymour Island.
Day 2: AM - Bartolome Island. PM - Puerto Egas, Santiago Island.
Day 3: PM - Genovesa Island.
Day 4: AM - Puerto Ayora, Santa Cruz Island; visit to the Charles Darwin Station. PM - Lunch at a local farm and visit to the
highlands, Santa Cruz Island.
Day 5: AM - Panga ride along Punta Vicente Roca, Isabela Island. PM - Punta Espinoza, Fernandina Island.
Day 6: AM - Sailing and whale watching, Bolivar Channel and trip to Urbina Bay. PM - Punta Moreno.
Day 7: AM - Gardner Bay, Espanola Island (Hood). PM - Punta Suarez.
Day 8: AM - Baltra. PM - Fly from Baltra Island to Quito or Guayaquil.

Airfare is not included in the tour price.

- Transfers from main hotels in Quito (Hilton Colon, Oro Verde, Alameda Real, Akros) and in Guayaquil (Hilton Colon, Oro Verde, Continental and Grand Hotel Guayaquil) to airport for flights to/from Galapagos are included in the cost. To coordinate these transfers we must have clients' hotel contacts.
