Tour Itinerary:

Day 1, October 15, 2009: Sao Paulo.

Arrive at Guarulhos International Airport in Sao Paulo where you are greeted by your private guide and driver for a transfer to your hotel. Enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure, exploring this huge city’s sites and sounds including it’s numerous museums and malls. Now the largest metropolis in South America and with 17 million people spread over 3,000 square miles, Sao Paulo is the third-largest city in the world. Time in the city is a chance to get to know that sub-species of Brazilian known as the Paulista. They’re proud of their work ethic and their "un-Brazilian" efficiency. Lacking beaches and mountains, Paulistas have devoted themselves entirely to urban pursuits. They dominate Brazilian politics. They run Brazilian business. Dining out is an almost religious observance. And in São Paulo, the music and nightlife never end. Hotel: L’Hotel, Meals: Dinner on your own.

Days 2 - 4, October 16 - 18, 2009: Grand Prix.

Meet your private transfer for the next 3 days who will transfer you to the infamous Interlagos Circuit. On Friday, view the morning and afternoon practice sessions from one of two grand stand options - one opposite the pit row and the other at Senna corner, a great spot to see the entire grid. Return on Saturday for practice and qualifying and on Sunday for the afternoon race. All three days you can take advantage of the services at the Orange Tree Club at turn 6 of the track where speeds are at their highest on the course. In the evenings, dine at your leisure at one of the many top restaurants in the city. Hotel: L’Hotel, Meals: Breakfast.

Day 5, October 19, 2009: Fly to Rio de Janeiro.

Private transfer from the hotel to the airport to fly to Rio. On arrival in Rio you will be met by another private transfer to your ocean-front hotel in Copacabana. Spend the afternoon taking a stroll along Copacabana or Ipanema Beaches. The Cariocas (locals from Rio) say that God spent 6 days creating the world and the 7th day creating Rio de Janeiro. With such a spectacular setting of humpback mountains overlooking the green azure waters of the ocean, the expansive Tijuca rainforest coupled with world famous Copacabana and Ipanema beaches and guarded by the Statue of Corcovado which hides magnificently among the clouds, who is to argue with this viewpoint! Hotel: Copacabana Palace, Meals: Breakfast.

Days 6-7, October 20-21, 2009: Rio de Janeiro.

This morning after breakfast, it is time to explore the city. One of these days will be on your own and the other will be with a private guide to visit the famous sites of Corcovado (Statue of Christ the Redeemer) and Sugar Loaf Mountain to name a few. Hotel: Copacabana Palace, Meals: Breakfast.

Day 8, October 22, 2009: Fly to Rio de Janeiro.

Private transfer from the hotel to the airport to fly to home. Meals: Breakfast.
