Your Itinerary:
Day 1: Nairobi: This morning arrive in Nairobi the capital city of Kenya, referred to as the green City in the sun. You are met by our Airport Representative and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the morning is free. Your adventure start this afternoon. Visit the home of Karen Blixen, the author of “Out of Africa”. It is now a National Museum. Then visit the Giraffe Manor, where you get a chance to feed some giraffes. Return back to your hotel for overnight Stanley Hotel. Includes: (B).
Day 2: Nairobi–Amboseli National Park.
Leaving in the early morning you fly to Amboseli and, on landing, transfer to your lodge to check into your rooms. You are then taken on a morning game drive returning to the Lodge for lunch. A late afternoon game drive is followed by dinner and overnight at Amboseli Serena Lodge. Includes: (B), (L), (D).
Day 3: Amboseli National Park:
Morning and evening game viewing alongside the magnificent snow blanketed mountain. It provide a great background for heards of elephants, giraffes, gazelle and pride of lions. The lodge provide a good pool overlooking a watering hole where different animals and birds visit . All meals and overnight at Amboseli Serena Lodge. Includes: (B), (L), (D).
Day 4: Amboseli-Nairobi–Mountain Lodge.
After breakfast transfer to Mount Kenya National Park, Nairobi where your lunch is served at Carnivore Restaurant. Try different types of game meat. Continue driving through Kikuyu countryside passing near Thika which boasts the world's third largest pineapple plantation and Karatina the second largest open air market in Africa. Road that takes you through Nyeri arriving Serena Mountain Lodge (tree hotel) in the late afternoon. Relax in the evening as you watch game from the balcony of the lodge. Overnight floodlit game viewing from your hotel terrace. Overnight at the Amboseli Mountain Lodge. Includes: (B), (D).
Day 5: Mountain Lodge- Samburu Game Reserve.
Depart after breakfast and drive further north across the equator to Samburu National Reserve past Mount Kenya, eventually heading north to a dusty outpost known as Isiolo. From here it's a fairly short hop to your destination to arrive at around 1400 ours in time for lunch. After lunch proceed for an afternoon game drive in the park famous as the place for the Samburu semi-nomadic tribesmen, the reticulated giraffe, the Gravy's zebra gerenuk, beisa Oryx and a host of the big game including elephant and lion. Meals and overnight at Samburu Serena Lodge. Includes: (B), (L), (D).
Day 6: Samburu.
Full day in Samburu, with an early morning and late afternoon game drive. Samburu is a beautiful and and game abundant park, home to rarely found species such as the Beisa Oryx, Grevy's zebra, blue-necked Somali ostrich and reticulated giraffe. Optional activities include a visit to a local Samburu village, camel riding and guided nature and bird walks. All meals and overnight at a Samburu Serena Lodge. Includes: (B), (L), (D).
Day 7: Sweetwaters Game Sanctuary.
Depart Samburu after breakfast and drive back to the lower slopes of Mount Kenya - arriving Sweetwaters Tented Camp in time for lunch.Afternoon game drive in the private sanctuary (Sweetwaters Game Reserve), This very special 23,000 acre wildlife sanctuary was originally established to protect and breed highly-endangered Black Rhinos. In 1994 the Jane Goodall Institute established the Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary within the game reserve and moved a large group of chimps here from the unstable situation, the only one of its kind in Kenya. You will also visit Morani the tame rhino and the Visitors Information Centre. Overnight at Sweetwaters Tented Camp. Includes: (B), (L), (D).
Day 8: Lake Nakuru National Park.
After breakfast drive down to the floor of the Rift Valley - to Lake Nakuru National Park, making a brief stop at Nyahururu Thomson Falls. Arrive at a Nakuru Lodge in time for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive in the park. Besides the flamingos that the lake is famous for, there are approx 400 other species of birds visiting the lake. Also, many species of game can be found in the park including the introduced Rothschild's giraffe, black and white rhino, water buck, reed buck, lion, buffalo, leopard, baboon and many species of plains game. Overnight at Lake Nakuru Lodge. Includes: (B), (L), (D).
Day 9: Maasai Mara.
Depart after breakfast and drive further along the floor of the Rift Valley to Maasai Mara, arriving tented luxury camp/lodge in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive as you get a feel of this vast game filled reserve. Overnight at Mara Simba Lodge. Includes: (B), (L), (D).
Day 10: Maasai Mara.
Spend two days in Maasai Mara, Kenya's most popular game sanctuary where you will have the best opportunity of spotting the Big Five (lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino and elephant). There will also be an optional visit to a local Maasai village. All meals and overnight at Mara Simba Lodge. Includes: (B), (L), (D).
Day 11: Masai Maara to Nairobi.
Depart Maasai Mara after breakfast, driving back to Nairobi to arrive approx 1300hrs. Drop at your hotel or transfer to the airport for onward flight home. Includes: (L).
