Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive Verona on your own stay at Due Torri Hotel Baglioni for the next 3 nights. Welcome dinner Antico Caffe Dante. Includes: (D). Day 2: After breakfast a full day tour of Verona including Giusti gardens and Basilica of San Zeno. Lunch at Calmiere restaurant. Afternoon sightseeing continues to the Roman Arena, Piazza Bra, Juliet's House, the tombs of the Scaligeri family. Dinner on your own. Includes: (B), (L). Day 3: After breakfast visit Vicenza known as the city of the 17th century architect Andrea Palladio. Visit Teatro Olimpico, Palazzo Chiericati, Piazza de Signor and Corso Andrea Palladio. Lunch at Antica Casa del Malvasia. In the afternoon visit the villa "La Rotonda" and Villa Valmarana "Ai Nani". Dinner and evening on your own. Includes: (B), (L). Day 4: Depart Vernona enroute to Venice. Stop in Padua to visit the famous Scorvegni Chapel known for its frescoes by the Renaissance painter, Giotto. After coffee at the Cafe Pedrocchi, depart for Asolo for visit to this quaint town and lunch on your own. Arrive Venice and Luna Hotel Baglioni. Welcome dinner tonight. Includes: (B), (L). Day 5: After breakfast, full day tour of Venice including St. Marks Square where you will visit the Basilica, The bridge of Sighs and the Prisons. Lunch at Taverna dei Dogi. Visit in the afternoon the Dorsoduro area including S. Maria della Salute church and the Peggy Guggenheim Museum of Modern Art. Dinner on your own. Includes: (B), (L). Day 6: After breakfast, tour by private motorboat the three Venetian Islands, Murano famous for its Glass Museum, Burano famous for Lace Making, and Torcello to see Church of San Francesco. Lunch will be at nearby and famous restaurant, Locanda Cipriani. Return to Venice for a free afternoon and evening. Includes: (B), (L). Day 7: After breakfast visit the lesser known churches of Venice in the morning. These include the Church of the Frari features paintings by Titian, Scola di San Rocco with paintings by Tiepolo and other famous Venetian Painters. Walking tour continues to Campo Santa Margherita and Scola ddei Carmini ending up at the San Trovaso gondola boaryard and across the Accademia Bridge before returning to y our hotel. Afternoon free. Dinner tonight at Al Cova one of the best fish restaurants in Venice. Includes: (B), (L). Day 8: After breakfast you can transfer to Venice airport or train station. Includes: (B). Notes:
