It's hard to think of a better destination for diving than Lanzarote.
The Island's waters are crystal clear, relatively warm all year round, and as safe as a walk in the park. And best of all, they are full of exotic and fascinating fish and animals that have to be seen to be believed.
Just meters from almost any beach you will find shoals of silver sea bream,cheeky green and yellow ornate wrasse and handsome black damselfish with electric blue fins.
The sea life offers some glorious encounters, ranging from cuttlefish & sea horses to barracudas & trigger fish to angel-hammerhead sharks & eagle rays. Mantas diablo, dolphins and small wales complete the underwater scenario.
Our Academy is the highest rated PADI dive center in the island of Lanzarote – it is a PADI Gold Palm 5* IDC Resort. We teach courses from beginner to instructor level with Instructor Development Courses and Instructor Examinations taking place every February and September .
The Academy is the training department of DawnDivesLanzarote and specializes in PADI PRO training. Our career development programs and internships train focused and motivated divers from Advanced Open Water Diver to Instructor level.
We have a whole range of PADI programs available starting every day, from Bubblemaker to Divemaster. A specialty of ours is diving with kids - Bubblemaker, Seal Team and Junior Open Water courses are in high demand and start regularly. Our center is fully stocked with equipment for kids e.g. easily adjustable BCD’s and 5-liter scuba tanks they can carry and handle themselves. All our courses are taught in English, German, Spanish and French.
We are located in H10 Rubicon Palace Hotel in Playa Blanca with a wonderful view over the island of Fuerteventura. We have access to the hotels facilities for our training purposes, with five pools including a heated outdoor pool. For all qualified divers, we dive twice a day all year round, our 6 meter Zappelin rib can take up to 10 divers to various dive sites up and down the coast. Night dives are also in high demand.
