From the northern tip of the island, where swirling seas form an eerie backdrop to Maori legend, long white sandy beaches, sub tropical climates, deep blue seas, natural beauty, fascinating culture, exquisite cuisine, quaint little villages and wonderful local folk make this an idyllic holiday destination.

Tour Itinerary:

Day 1, Saturday: We all meet in Auckland this afternoon at 3pm. Hotel ? (TBA). For introductions to your tour party hosts and Coach Captain. Light refreshments will be served. Accommodation & Refreshments supplied.

Day 2, Sunday: Auckland City Leisure day Options: Morning Church Service at St Matthew’s or visit The Skytower- the highest tower in Australasia and enjoy the views, alternatively visit the Viaduct Basin- where the America’s cup was hosted. Go Shopping, take a ferry ride or Barbour cruise. Check out the Penguins at Kelly Talton’s Underwater World & Antarctic Experience. This is awesome for all ages. Today is your free day to relax into holiday mode and do whatever you choose. Breakfast & Accommodation supplied.

Day 3, Monday: Auckland Region Mystery Tour: Today is a mystery tour. It will not be confirmed until the day, as the options will be quite dependent on the weather. Sit back, relax and let us take care care of you. You will not be disappointed.

Day 4, Tuesday: Today we will begin our Northwards travel. Leaving Auckland we will travel to the Kauri museum, see how the early settlers harvested timber and gum from these giant trees. Stop at Waipoua Forest and view (Tane Mahutu- the Giant Kauri). Continue up to Kaitaia. Breakfast, Accommodation & Entry to Kauri Museum and Waipoua forest supplied.

Day 5, Wednesday:Today we travel to the very tip of New Zealand. Cape Reinga with its lonely lighthouse gnarled, twisted pohutakawa tree and windswept cliff tops, is a mystical place of rugged beauty. Here you can see the turbulent waters of where two mighty oceans meet. The Pacific Ocean and the Tasman Sea. An awe-inspiring sight not to be missed, not to mention the “90 miles” of white sandy beaches all the way. We then return down the East Coast to Paihia. Visit the Historic Church at Waimate. Breakfast & Accommodation supplied.

Day 6, Thursday: Paihia Leisure Day - Options:
- Take in a cultural experience of the Treaty House at Waitangi
- Catch the ferry to Russell and discover the ancient history
- Visit historic buildings, Christ’s Church, the museum,
- Pompallier House or just enjoy the beach or a walk. To really enjoy the Bay of Islands take a boat trip “the famous Cream trip “or the “Hole in the Rock” come fully recommended. Breakfast, Accommodation & Entry to Treaty House supplied.

Day 7, Friday: We leave the Northland today and travel South. Stopping in Whangarei town basin briefly and then onto Orewa for lunch. We will continue south through the lush farmlands, following the mighty Waikato River to Hamilton. Breakfast & Accommodation supplied.

Day 8, Saturday: Leisurely travel down to Waitomo and visit the world famous Waitomo Caves. Enjoy a guided tour through the limestone caves and a boat ride through the glowworm grotto. Enjoy lunch then we travel across to Rotorua. Breakfast, Accommodation and entry to Caves supplied.

Day 9, Sunday: Rotorua (home of Maori culture). This evening we will provide entertainment at Maori Village (includes traditional Meal– Hangi). Breakfast, Accommodation, Dinner & Show supplied. Leisure Day Options:
- Attend a church service at (TBA).
- Visit Rainbow Springs, take a Gondola ride up the mountain
- Visit our World famous Agridome- see agriculture at its best
- Visit the world’s most active geyser and experience Maori Culture at Te Puia.
- Take a hot mineral bath, visit the lakes, go trout fishing.
- Go shopping, Play Golf, Sleep late, Relax and enjoy the day.

Day 10, Monday: Leave Rotorua and travel North through the Kiwi Fruit country to Tauranga. Enjoy lunch at sunny Mt Maunganui. Take in some shopping or enjoy a stroll along the beach. We arrive back in Auckland late today after following the scenic route. Breakfast, & Accommodation supplied.

Day 11, Tuesday: Tour ends this morning. You will bid farewell to your new found friends and continue your journey homeward.
