A walk through a beautiful pink city, that was built in Eighteenth century. This town of Rajasthan is the best example of town planning in medieval India. Jaipur is the first planned city of India and was designed according to ancient Indian principals of town planning mentioned in an old text "Vastushastra".
City is divided in 9 rectangular blocks, each corresponding to one planet of sky. We pass through Wind Palace (Hawa Mahal), many streets of old city, Royal Palace (City Palace Museum) and finally reach Astronomical Observatory (Jantar Mantar) to know how these astronomical instruments were perfectly built about 280 yrs back and still are in perfect working condition.
