Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: Brasov

Meet at your hotel and departure to Brasov – car transfer. First stop on our way is Sinaia - “The pearl of the Carpathians”, where we will visit Sinaia Monastery and Peles Palace – the royal residence during the monarchy reign in Romania. Lunch in Sinaia(not included). We then leave for Brasov, passing through Predeal, the highest town in Romania. Arrival in Brasov – the main touristic city in Romania. Here we'll visit the Black Church, the largest construction in Gothic style in Eastern Europe, the Town Hall (15th Century) hosting now Brasov's History Museum, the Rope Street and the old town. Car transfer to Rasnov Fortress. It is one of the biggest rural fortresses in the country and somehow unique in that it was meant to be a place of refuge for the commoners from sieges over extended periods of time. Dinner and overnight at hotel*** in Bran.

Day 2: Dracula's Castle

Breakfast at 3* hotel in Bran. After wards we will visit Bran Castle, also known as Dracula's Castle. It was built between 1377 – 1382 on a 60 meters high rock, and it hosts a museum of medieval art (weapons and furniture, hunting trophies). Car transfer to Sighisoara. Sighisoara is the only inhabited medieval citadel from Europe and also Vlad the Impaler's (known as Dracula) birth place. Here we will visit the Clock Tower – a fortified entry gate in the citadel, the Church on the Hill – the most valuable architectural monument in Sighisoara, the Covered Stairway – it was covered for the children’s protection on their way to school, the Monastery Church, the first Dominican monastery (13th Century).

Lunch in Sighisoara (not included). Car transfer to Biertan. The architectonic ensemble of Biertan impresses by a harmonious matching in locality, by its aesthetic and historic value and especially by the original substance preserved since the end of the 15th century and the beginning of the 16th century, characteristics which determined its inclusion on The UNESCO List of World Patrimony. Then we leave for Sibiu, European Capital of Culture in 2007. Dinner and overnight at 3* hotel in Sibiu.

Day 3: Sibiu

Breakfast at 3* hotel in Sibiu. After breakfast we'll make a walking city tour. The Large Square is the historic center of Sibiu, first mentioned in 1411 as corn market. The public executions and public meetings used to be held here. Facing west is the beautiful Brukenthal Palace (1789) which hosts the Brukenthal National Museum, and next is the Blue House, a baroque building from the 18th Century. The Small Square is the second largest historic place of Sibiu and one of the most beautiful square in town. This square is a magnificent place surrounded by preserved medieval buildings and it is connected to the Large Square through narrows passages.

The Liars Bridge (the first iron-cast bridge in Romania built in 1859) makes the connection to the Huet Square, dominated by the Evangelical Cathedral (14th Century). Olt defile is one of the most spectacular crossing of the Southern Carpathians. The river cut its way to the plains between Cindrel, Capatanii and Fagaras Mountains, being dominated at the end by Cozia Mountain. Calimanesti is a famous spa in Romania; its hot mineral springs attract thousands of tourists for treatment and relaxation. Lunch(not included). Ramnicu Valcea is situated in a beautiful area near Olt River, well known in Romania as a beautiful quiet city. The town's development was secured by the flourish commerce exchange between Transylvania and Wallachia on the Olt's transversal valley. Transfer to Curtea de Arges. The Royal Court at Curtea de Arges was the first capital of the rulers of Wallachia. We'll visit the Monastery of Curtea de Arges, a legendary church built in the 16th Century under the rule of King Neagoe Basarab. Transfer to Bucharest. Car transfer to Otopeni International Airport also available.
