Black Sea is the most interesting sea of Europe and the eastern natural border of the continent. Greeks first settle here for commercial reasons, Tomis being the oldest city of Romania. Traces of the ancient Greek and Roman civilization are all over the way in the region. Danube Delta is the home of numerous fish and bird species. A land of water canals and forest under the sun, The Danube Delta is unique and special. You will fall in love with it.

Tour Itinerary:
Day 1.
Pick up from your hotel and car transfer to Mamaia, through Constanta, where we stop to visit the ruins of Tomis 6th Century B.C. Lunch in Constanta (not included) and car transfer to Mamaia. Free time. Dinner and overnight at hotel**** in Mamaia.
Day 2.
Breakfast at ****hotel in Mamaia. Transfer to the Danube Delta (Mahmudia). At Histria you will see the ruins of the first Greek settlement on the Romanian coast. Revealed in 1970's the site is still under archaeological research. Next stop is at the ancient ruins of the Byzantine fortress of Heraclea (645 – 650 A.D.), in Enisala village. It was rebuilt by the Genoese in the 13th Century to secure trade at the mouths of the Danube river. Tulcea is the capital city of Tulcea County. The History and Archeology Museum along with the Danube Delta Museum are interesting cultural objectives in the city. The Danube Delta is the most spectacular natural habitat in Europe and unique around the World. Flora and fauna are incredibly rich in diversity. Dinner and overnight at hotel**** in Mahmudia.
Day 3.
Breakfast. We will visit the amazing natural environment of Danube Delta by boat. This is the place where millions of birds from different places of the Earth, come to stay during the migration seasons. Fisherman's traditional lunch. Dinner and overnight at hotel**** in Mahmudia.
Day 4.
Breakfast. Transfer to Bucharest. On our way to Bucharest we will pass Dobrogea region, the oldest Romanian land. In the North part there is one of the oldest mountains of Europe, with heights of hills (437 m). The region is on 3 sides surrounded by waters. (West and North by Danube and East by the Black Sea). We will cross Danube into Wallachia in Baragan region. This region is known as the main grain producer of the country. Fields and oak forests are covering the plain all the way to Bucharest. Lunch on the way (not included). Car transfer to Bucharest. Car transfer to Otopeni International Airport also available.
