Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: On arrival You will be met by a Silver Africa Tours Representative at the Nairobi Jomo Kenyatta airport and transfer you to the Stanley Hotel for your accommodation on Bed and Breakfast Basis is included.
Day 2: One extra night in the bustling capital of Kenya allows plenty of time to shop and admire the local sights , including the Karen Blixen Museum and Giraffe Centre. A home host dinner will be the highlight of your Kenya stay.
Day 3 - Day 4: After morning breakfast at your hotel and safari briefing by your host you will wing north over verdant Kikuyu farmlands and rolling hills to the semi –arid Samburu /Shaba Reserves. Gameviewing offers the chance to view Somali ostrich, reticulated giraffe, gerenuk and Grevy’s zebra -species only found in this drier climate. All meals provided overnight Samburu Serena Lodge.
Day 5 - Day 6: After breakfast this morning we fly to Nanyuki, where you are transferred to the reknowned Mount Kenya Safari Club in time for lunch. Visit the animal orphanage and the local craft centers and community projects in Nanyuki, including the Weavers and Spinners, a cottage industry which supports a local orphanage. All meals provided at your hotel. Overnight at Mount Kenya Safari Club.
Day 7 - Day 9: After breakfast we bid farewell to Mount Kenya Safari Club and transfer to Nanyuki Airstip and wing our team to Maasai Mara Game reserve – Kenya’s top game viewing destination. Two wildlife activities per day are sure to conjure up magical sightings of lions, leopard, elephant and many other species, all meals provided. Overnight at Mara West Camp.
Day 10: A final drive onto the plains, lunch at the camp, bid farewell to the Mara, fly to Nairobi, farewell dinner at the Brazilian styled Carnivore restaurant followed by a transfer to the airport for your outbound flight .
