Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City - Cu Chi Tunnels
Upon arrival at Tan San Nhat Airport, depart to visit Cu Chi, the famous network of tunnels were used as the base from which the Vietnamese mounted their operations of the Tet Offensive in 1968. The Cu Chi Tunnels consist of more than 250 km of underground tunnels. This main axis system has many branches connecting to underground hideouts, shelters, and entrances to other tunnels, the tunnels are between 0,5 to 1 meter wide, just enough for a person to crawl along. Transfer back to Ho Chi Minh City for dinner in local restaurant before check in the hotel. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 2: Ho Chi Minh City Tour - Da Nang
Morning visit Reunification Palace – the former Presidential Palace of Southern Vietnamese Government before 1975. Then visit Notre Dame Cathedral, Central Post Office and Historical Museum before taking an orientation walk along Dong Khoi and Nguyen Hue streets where you can get the great view of famous city hall in Saigon. Enjoy your lunch at local restaurant (own account) then transfer to Tan Son Nhat airport for a departure flight to Da Nang. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to Hoi An then check in at hotel. Take the orientation walk around the town. Evening is free at leisure. Overnight in Hoi An. Includes: (B)
Day 3: Hoi An City Tour
Morning take a walking tour to Hoi An ancient town. Visit Phuc Kien congressional assembly hall, Japanese Cover Bridge and Tan Ky ancient house. Then you have free time for discovering the town on your own or shopping before having lunch at Cargo Club Restaurant. Afternoon take a cycle trip to rural area of Hoi An. Follow the Thu Bon river bank and enjoy the great view of Hoi An town over the river then discover the villages of local people before taking the boat trip on Thu Bon River. It is great chance to see the daily life activities of local people along the river. On the way back to Hoi An, enjoy the beautiful sunset on the river. Overnight in Hoi An. Includes: (B)
Day 4: Hoi An - Hue
Morning drive from Hoi An to Hue, the ancient capital of Vietnam. Visit China Beach and Cham Museum en route. Upon arrive in Hue, check in then have lunch at the hotel. Afternoon take a cycle trip from your hotel over famous Trang Tien bridge and Dong Ba market. The cycle will take you around the ancient citadel of Hue, getting over the streets, local shops for the over view of daily life and architecture of this famous citadel. Stop at Noon gate of Imperial Citadel for the walking tour to the inner area of the citadel where the Nguyen Dynasty ruled between 1802 and 1945 including Flag Tower, Noon Gate, Nine Dynastic Urns, Nine Holy Cannons, Thai Hoa Palace, and Forbidden Purple City. Day 5: Hue City Tour
Morning we drive to visit Thien Mu pagoda, the symbol of Hue city then take a walk around Kim Long Village. It will be great chance to learn about lifestyle of local people there. Then visit Tu Duc Tomb, discover beautiful and impressive architecture of this unique construction in Hue as well as the story of the King there. After lunch at local restaurant, the rest of the afternoon is free at leisure. In the evening, experience the vegetarian dinner at Dong Thien Pagoda and interact with the nuns there. Day 6: Hue - Hanoi
Morning drive to Phu Bai Airport for the flight to Hanoi. Upon arrival, visit Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum – the symbol of the country and Presidential Palace, Presidential Garden, his House on Stilts and One Pillar Pagoda in the area nearby. After lunch in local restaurant (own account), visit Temple of Literature – the central of culture of Hanoi then visit Hoa Lo prison, the place so called “Hanoi Hilton” by American Pilots during the War. Check in the hotel. You will have time to refresh before going to Water Puppet show.

Day 7: Hanoi - Halong Bay
Morning depart to Halong Bay through Red River Delta. Upon arrival to Halong, embark to the Junk and set sail through bay while lunch is served. Passage into the picturesque “Dragon descending to the sea” Bay has 1,969 limestone islets rising from the sea, many of them containing beautiful grottoes. After lunch, take a short trek to a nearby summit for a panoramic view of the bay dotted with our Junk, go swimming on a quite beach or sunbathing on the sundeck.
Later afternoon, visit an interesting fishing village with opportunity to interact with fish men who have been living in the bay for almost three generations. At sunset time, kayak or simply take a bamboo row boat to discover a water tunnel with many coral reefs in a scenic lagoon. Back on board, enjoy cocktails while watching sunset before dinner. Day 8: Halong – Tho Ha - Hanoi
Greet the day with a morning Tai Chi exercise with an opportunity to view the sunrise over the bay. After breakfast, visit beautiful limestone grotto then back to the boat for a final glimpse of the Halong Bay while cruising back to the dock. Drive back to Hanoi. On the way, visit Tho Ha the famous village of terracotta products before 20th century. Discover village through narrow and zigzag alleys with the old houses had been constructed from broken part of terracotta from the past. Walking over village cemetery to the dike, where you can see the village from distance over the beautiful lake. Overnight in Hanoi. Includes: (B)
Day 9: Hanoi. Morning is free at leisure at the hotel till departure time for your flight home. Tour ends. Includes: (B).
