Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: Windhoek-Waterberg Plateau Park. Depart Okatore for Windhoek and take delivery of the rental car, leave Windhoek and travel about 300 km, by tar road, north to the Waterberg, an impressive mountain range. Overnight at the state-owned rest camp in comfortable bungalows. Restaurant is available, meals and beverages are not included.

Day 2: Waterberg Plateau Park-Etosha National Park (Namutoni). Depart from Waterberg and travel another 300 km north to the Etosha National Park. Pay an en-route visit to the historic Lake Otjikoto near Tsumeb. Overnight at the state-owned Fort Namutoni. Restaurant available, meals and beverages are not included.

Day 3: Namutoni-Okaukuejo (Etosha). Enjoy a day of game-viewing in the park whilst traveling at your own leisure to Okaukuejo. Preferably arriving by late afternoon. Overnight in comfortable bungalows. Restaurant available, meals and beverages are not included.

Day 4: Okaukuejo-Omaruru. Enjoy more game viewing and depart for Omaruru, 330 km dirt and tar road. Luxurious Lodge with magnificent landscaped garden, swimming pool and the possibility to view numerous animals at the waterhole. Game drives are available. Overnight in luxurious bungalows. Restaurant is available and price includes breakfast.

Day 5: Omaruru-Swakopmund. From Omaruru travel 300 km to Swakopmund, mainly dirt road. Small coastal town with excellent shops and souvenir stores. High sand dunes, stunning beaches (water temperature between 15 °C and 20 °C.) Overnight at B&B only 5 minutes walk from town center and beach. Breakfast included, superb restaurants in close proximity.

Day 6: Swakopmund. Day trip into the desert or along the coast. Numerous activities, also for the more adventurous. Overnight at B&B.

Day 7: Swakopmund-Windhoek. Leave Swakopmund for Windhoek (360 km, tar road). Enjoy the day in Windhoek souvenir shopping. Return rental car in the afternoon.
