Day 1: Arrival - Hanoi (-/-/-). Fly to Hanoi. Upon arrival to the airport, you well be met by our guide and transfer to you hotel. Overnight in Hanoi
Day 2: Hanoi – Full day of city tour (B/L/D)
Morning start our tour to discover Hanoi, a peaceful city with beautiful trees and lakes, the city has thousand years of history and culture. Drive over the French Quarter, that can explain to you why this city so called “ Paris of the East” before visiting Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum – the symbol of the country and Presidential Palace, Presidential Garden, his House on Stilts and One Pillar Pagoda. After that, visit Temple of Literature – the central of culture of Hanoi. After enjoying your lunch in local restaurant, visit Ethnology Museum in which you can study the great outline of 54 ethics people living in Vietnam. Back to the center of the city for one hour cyclo trip around Old Quarter of Hanoi. It is great chance for you to discover the daily life activities of local people in the most attractive area of the city. Your tour will be concluded with great experience of Water Puppet show – the unique art of Vietnamese people from Red River Delta. Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight in Hanoi
Day 3: Hanoi-Mai Chau (B/L/D):
Depart from Hanoi to Mai Chau – the peaceful valley in the West of Hanoi. This trip gives you a lot of photo opportunities with spectacular scenery of mountain area and rice fields. Upon arrival to Mai Chau, check in and have lunch at local house of Thai people in Pom Coong village. Afternoon we will take a walk around the valley to visit some nearby villages, carpet green rice fields and Mai Chau town. After dinner, enjoy traditional music show performed by local people in the village. Overnight in the long house of Thai people.
Day 4: Mai Chau - Hanoi (B/L/-)
In the morning drive up to Xa Linh then take 2 hours trekking through the primitive jungle to the area of Muong people. Located on the beautiful plateau on the bank of Hoa Binh reservoir, this village is hidden from tourist and very friendly to the visitors. You will have lots of chances to interact to hill tribe people there before returned to the bus to visit the village of Mong people at Xa Linh. Drive back to Mai Chau for lunch in the house on stilts of Thai family. After lunch, you can say good bye to our very hospitable host and drive back to Hanoi.
Day 5: Hanoi - Halong bay (B/L/D)
Morning depart to Halong bay through Red River Delta. Upon arrival to Halong welcome on board of our Junk and set sail through bay while lunch is served. Passage into the magical bay, where thousands of sculpted limestone islands rise from the waves like dragons’ teeth. After lunch, take a short trek to a nearby summit for a panoramic view of the bay, go swimming on a quite beach or sunbathing on the sundeck. Later afternoon, visit an interesting fishing village with opportunity to interact with fish men who have been living in the bay for almost three generations. At sunset time, kayak or simply take a bamboo row boat to discover a water tunnel with many coral reefs in a scenic lagoon. Back on board, enjoy cocktails while watching sunset and later unwind at the restaurant. Overnight at Junk in Halong.
Day 6: Halong bay – Tho Ha - Hanoi (Brunch/-/-)
Greet the day with a morning Tai Chi exercise with an opportunity to view the sunrise over the bay. After breakfast, visit beautiful limestone grotto then back to the boat for a final glimpse of the Halong Bay while cruising back to the dock. Drive back to Hanoi. On the way, visit Tho Ha the famous village of terracotta products before 20th century. Discover village through narrow and zigzag alleys with the old houses had been constructed from broken part of terracotta from the past. Walking over village cemetery to the dyke, where you can see the village from distance over the beautiful lake.
Day 7: Hanoi - Hue (B/L/-)
Morning transfer to the airport for the flight to Hue, the ancient capital of Vietnam. Upon arrival, check in the hotel then enjoy the lunch at local restaurant. Afternoon take a cyclo trip from your hotel over famous Trang Tien bridge and Dong Ba market. The cyclo will take you around the ancient citadel of Hue, getting over the streets, local shops for the over view of daily life and architecture of this famous citadel. Stop at Noon gate of Imperial Citadel for the walking tour to the inner area of the citadel where the Nguyen Dynasty ruled between 1802 and 1945 including Flag Tower, Noon Gate, Nine Dynastic Urns, Nine Holy Cannons, Thai Hoa Palace, and Forbidden Purple City. Overnight in Hue.
Day 8: Half day Hue city tour (B/L/D)
Morning we drive to visit Thien Mu pagoda, the symbol of Hue city then take a walk around Kim Long Village. It will be great chance to learn about lifestyle of local people there. Then visit Tu Duc Tomb, discover beautiful and impressive architecture of this unique construction in Hue as well as the story of the King there. After lunch at local restaurant, the rest of the afternoon is free at leisure. In the evening, experience the vegetarian dinner at Dong Thien Pagoda and interact with the nuns there. Overnight in Hue.
Day 9: Hue - Danang - Hoian (B/-/-)
Morning depart to Danang through famous Hai Van Pass. Upon arrival, visit Cham Museum with great collection of sand stone artifact from 4th to 13th century. After lunch in Apsara restaurant, drive to Hoi An, the little attractive town very famous as living museum which was originally one of major trading centers of Southeast Asia in the 16th century. Check in to the hotel then take the orientation walk around the town. Evening is free at leisure. Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 10: Full- Day Hoi An city tour (B/L/-)
Morning take a walking tour to Hoi An ancient town. Visit Phuc Kien congressional assembly hall, Japanese Cover Bridge and Tan Ky ancient house. Then you have free time for discovering the town on your own or shopping before having lunch at Cargo Club Restaurant.
Afternoon take a cyclo trip to rural area of Hoi An. Follow the Thu Bon river bank and enjoy the great view of Hoi An town over the river then discover the villages of local people before taking the boat trip on Thu Bon River. It is great chance to see the daily life activities of local people along the river. On the way back to Hoi An, enjoy the beautiful sun set on the river. Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 11: Hoi An - My Son (B/L/D)
Early morning we will drive to My Son, the Holly land of Champa kingdom date back from 4th to 13th century. Arrive to My Son before it getting crowded by the other tourists, you will have great chance to discover and feel the great ancient atmosphere of the complex of nearly 70 difference towers there, where you can find the best brick sculpture in the world and learn about the influences of Hinduism to their. My Son also had been recognized to be culture world Heritage in 2000. Back to Hoian for lunch. Afternoon free for shopping and further discovery of Hoian on your own before attending to the cooking class at Morning Glory Restaurant. Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 12: Hoi An - Danang -Saigon (B/L/-)
Morning transfer to Danang airport for the flight to Saigon. Upon arrival take tour to Reunification Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral, Central Post office. After lunch in local restaurant, take a tour to China town, the special identity of Saigon. Visit Ngoc Hoang Pagoda, where hundreds of local people come and burn the incense for their luck, prosperity and happiness. After that, visit History Museum, where you can see great outline of the 4000 years history of the country. Overnight in Saigon.
Day 13: Full day to Tay Ninh + Cu Chi Tunnels (B/L/-)
Morning depart for Tay Ninh, the head quarter of Cao Dai religion. On arrival we will have time to visit the impressive Holy temple of Caodaism, the famous local religion that is the symbol of the curious combination of the Confucianism, Taoism, Christianity and Buddhism before attending the fantastic mid-day mass. After having lunch in local restaurant, drive to Cu Chi, the famous network of tunnels were used as the base from which the Vietnamese mounted their operations of the Tet Offensive in 1968. The Cu Chi Tunnels consist of more than 250 km of underground tunnels. This main axis system has many branches connecting to underground hideouts, shelters, and entrances to other tunnels, the tunnels are between 0.5 to 1m wide, just enough for a person to crawl along. Transfer back to Saigon. Overnight in Saigon.
Day 14: Saigon– Cai Be – Vinh Long - Can Tho (B/L/-)
Morning drive from Sai Gon to Cai Be. Upon arrive, embark for the boat trip to colorful Cai Be floating Market, then visit some local home factories to discover traditional rice paste making, rice pop corn, coco candies, and longans drying process. After enjoying beautiful lunch at a family run restaurant with typical food from Mekong Delta, you will cruise over main stream of Mekong River to the canal to visit Tam Ho nurserling garden. Enjoy the beautiful the taste of different kind of local fruit and the folk music performed by local artist. Visit the brick and pottery factory that using the rice husk to be the fuel for firing in their very impressive kiln in 40 days before disembark at Vinh Long pier. Back to the bus to drive to Can Tho, the capital of Mekong Delta. Overnight in Can Tho.
Day 15: Can Tho - Saigon (B/L/-)
After breakfast at hotel, transfer to Ninh Kieu wharf for a boat trip to visit Cai Rang floating market where local people whole sale all product of Mekong Delta. It will be great chance for taking part to the local activities and taking pictures. Then continue by boat to visit the local bustling inland market before visiting Rice processing factory. The car picks up at Ninh Kieu Wharf and transfer back to Saigon with lunch stop at Mekong Rest Stop Restaurant. Overnight in Saigon.
Day 16: Ho Chi Minh City - Departure (B/-/-). At leisure until transfer to Tan Son Nhat Airport for departure flight. Tour ends
