Trip highlight: City tour in Hanoi, overnight on Junk in Halong, explore Tho Ha – the ancient village in Red River Delta. Day 1: ARRIVAL - HANOI (-/-/-) Fly to Hanoi. Upon arrival to the airport, you well be met by our guide and transfer to you hotel. In the afternoon, take a cyclo trip to discover the Old Quarter of Hanoi. It is great chance for you to discover the daily life activities of local people in the most attractive area of the city. The rest of the day is at your leisure. Overnight in Hanoi. Day 2: HANOI – FULL DAY OF CITY TOUR (B/-/-) Morning start our tour to discover Hanoi, a peaceful city with beautiful trees and lakes, the city has thousand years of history and culture. Drive over the French Quarter, that can explain to you why this city so called “ Paris of the East” before visiting Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum – the symbol of the country and Presidential Palace, Presidential Garden, his House on Stilts and One Pillar Pagoda. After that, visit Temple of Literature – the central of culture of Hanoi. Afternoon, visit Ethnology Museum in which you can study the great outline of 54 ethics people living in Vietnam. In the evening, enjoy the great experience of Water Puppet show – the unique art of Vietnamese people from Red River Delta. Overnight in Hanoi. Day 3: HANOI - HALONG BAY (B/L/D) Morning depart to Halong bay through Red River Delta. Upon arrival to Halong, embark to the Junk and set sail through bay while lunch is served. Passage into the picturesque “Dragon descending to the sea” Bay has 1,969 limestone islets rising from the sea, many of them containing beautiful grottoes. After lunch, take a short trek to a nearby summit for a panoramic view of the bay dotted with our Junk, go swimming on a quite beach or sunbathing on the sundeck. Later afternoon, visit an interesting fishing village with opportunity to interact with fish men who have been living in the bay for almost three generations. At sunset time, kayak or simply take a bamboo row boat to discover a water tunnel with many coral reefs in a scenic lagoon. Back on board, enjoy cocktails while watching sunset before dinner. Overnight and dinner on the Junk. Day 4: HALONG BAY –THO HA VILLAGE - DEPARTURE (B/-/-) Greet the day with a morning Tai Chi exercise with an opportunity to view the sunrise over the bay. After breakfast, visit beautiful limestone grotto then back to the boat for a final glimpse of the Halong Bay while cruising back to the dock. Drive back to Hanoi. On the way, visit Tho Ha the famous village of terracotta products before 20th century. Discover village through narrow and zigzag alleys with the old houses had been constructed from broken part of terracotta from the past. Walking over village cemetery to the dike, where you can see the village from distance over the beautiful lake. Drive to Noi Bai Airport for your departure flight. Tour end.
