Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: Entebbe.

You'll be personally met upon arrival at Entebbe airport, and transferred to the Imperial Resort Beach Hotel. Meals and overnight at the Hotel. Includes: (D)

Day 2: Entebbe - Kampala.

Wake up ready to for African breakfast. Move to Uganda Wildlife Education Center (UWEC) at 8.00 and a boat ride to Ngamba Island on a traditional boat View the orphaned Chimps closely as they come out of the forest to feed. After lunch you return to Entebbe. Your ticket to the Island entitles you free entrance to UWEC where you will see different kinds of animals and birds including the Ecosystem in which they live. After that, drive to Kampala for Dinner and overnight at Emin Pasha Hotel.Includes: (B), (L), (D).

Days 3-4: Kampala - Jinja.

Morning excursion to the famous tombs of the Kabaka kings, Uganda museum, Bahai temple and Namugongo Martyrs shrine where 22 Christian convicts were killed under Kabaka(King of Buganda) - Mwanga in 1886. After lunch from Mabira Forest Eco Lodge, drive to Jinja for evening excursion of the source of the Nile and Bujagali Falls. Meals and overnight at Jinja Nile Resort. The 4th day is dedicated to white water rafting along the famous River Nile with Adrift out fitters. Meals and overnight will be at Mabira Forest Eco Lodge. Includes:(B), (L), (D).

Day 5: Jinja - Bwindi.

Our guide/driver picks you up from your hotel at 7:00 a.m. Drive to Mabarara (3633km from Kampala ) via Masaka. Make a first stop over at Equator crossing for photography. Lunch break is made at Regency Hotel or Agip Motel Mbarara. After lunch, drive to Bwindi. This is the lushest highland rain forest on earth, filled with primates and exotic birds, valleys, hilltops and papyrus swamps. The evening is spent on a foot safari around the local communities living around the park. Dinner and over night at the Gorilla Forest Camp. Includes: (B), (L), (D).

Day 6: Bwindi.

Begin the day with breakfast and get ready for trekking, which begins at 8:00 a.m with a briefing from the UWA staff. Ensure to carry along with you rain jacket, drinking water, snacks, jungle boots etc The guides will lead you inside the jungle to see the shy Primates for a group you have been booked for. Do not forget to take your lunch boxes and all the necessary gear to track the rare Mountain Gorilla, perhaps one of the most exciting wildlife experiences on earth. There are now only 650 left in the world! The tracking may take between 2 and 6 hours but its well worth the effort. Dinner and over night at the Gorilla Forest Camp. Includes: (B), (L), (D).

Day 7: Bwindi - Queen.

Depart for QE with a game drive at Ishasha to look for the tree climbing lions and game viewing en route to Jacana Lodge for Lunch. In the evening visit the bat cave adjustment to Maramagambo forest and Lake Nyamusingiri. All should carry torches. Dinner and overnight at Jacana Lodge perched right on the edge of the escarpment overlooking the Ugandan Great Lakes. Includes: (B), (L), (D).

Day 8: Queen.

Have a dawn game drive in Uganda's best park, where all the big game can be seen in abundance. Famous for elephant and kob, expect to see some rarer animals like giant forest hog. There are 638 recorded bird species in the park! After lunch, enjoy a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel which connects Lakes Edward and George, for large numbers of buffalo and hippo. Dinner and overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge perched right on the edge of the escarpment overlooking the Ugandan Great Lakes. Includes: (B), (L), (D).

Day 9: Queen - Semliki.

After breakfast drive to Kyambura gorge across open grass and wooden savanna for Chimp tracking. You will also encounter some animals like the giant forest hog as you trek. Return to the lodge for lunch and thereafter drive to Fort Portal via the creator region and baboon cliff for sight seeing. This an area you will enjoy most the scenery of the Mountains of the Moon following the foot hills. A night game drive in Semliki is optional activity. Dinner and over night at Semliki Safari Lodge. Includes: (B), (L), (D).

Day 10: Semliki.

Morning drive to Semliki National Park for a nature walk in the dense jungle of African continent. This walk affords you to encounter different birds, plants, insects and animals as you trek up to the hot springs. Visit the pygmy-primitive people and a evening relaxation close to the pool. Dinner and overnight at Semliki Safari lodge. Includes: (B), (L), (D).

Day 11: Semliki - Fort Portal.

After breakfast drive to Kibale forest for Bigodi Bird Sanctuary walk for primate viewing and birding. After lunch from Kanyanchu, excursion to the amazing crater lakes. Dinner and overnight at Ndali Lodge overlooking the crater lakes. Includes: (B), (L), (D).

Day 12: Fort Portal

A morning chimp walk in Kibale Forest which starts at 8:00 am. The dense forests offer a suitable habitat for habituated chimps, where designated nature trails have been developed to help you and your guide spot the chimps swinging on top of the trees inside cool forest. Dinner and overnight at Ndali Lodge overlooking the crater lakes. Includes: (B), (L), (D).

Day 13: Fort Portal - Murchison.

Begin the day with breakfast. After breakfast drive to Murchison via Hoima, Masindi road through a landscape of Albertine rift escarpment engulfed with tea plantations, forests, rift valley escarpment and valleys. Visit astonishing beauty of the top of Murchison falls where the water escapes from a narrow gorge bouncing downwards 45 meters and making a constant roar and plume of rainbow. Overnight at Paraa Safari Lodge. Includes: (B), (L), (D).

Day 14: Murchison.

Begin your day with a cup of African coffee ready for a game drive, bird watching and sight seeing across the open Savannah dotted woodland and riverside vegetation along the Nile and Albert delta. Here expect to meet elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, lions, leopards, water buck and a countless population of birds, return to the lodge for breakfast and lunch. After lunch, a three hour boat trip along the Nile gives you assured chance to see the falls from the bottom angle. Hippos, crocodiles, antelopes, and aquatic birds can be seen along the shores of the River. Overnight at Paraa Safari Lodge. Includes: (B), (L), (D).

Day 15: Murchison - Entebbe.

Wake up at 6:00am prepared to take a photograph of the African rising sun in the morning and enjoy African breakfast. Visitors booked for Paraa have to cross the ferry back to Masindi using the same route for lunch. Return to Kampala and airport transfer.Dis
