Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: Entebbe.

Jinja We shall personally meet you upon your arrival at Entebbe airport, and transferred to the New the Mabira Forest Lodge/Bilkon Hotel in Jinja for overnight. Includes: (D).

Day 2: Jinja-Mbale.

After breakfast, embark on forest nature walk. Here you will see butterflies, birds, flora and fauna. Drive to Jinja for excursion of the source of River Nile and famous Bujagali falls. Lunch break at Jinja Nile Resort. We then proceed to Mbale via Tiriny on a good tarmac road evening excursion of Sippi falls. Overnight at Lacam Lodge. Includes: (B), (L), (D).

Day 3: Mbale-Soroti.

Begin the day with a hike of Mt Elgon. The one day activity presents an exciting setting for extended hikes, interesting and unique flora and fauna, magnificent water falls, enormous caves, scenic peaks gorges and hot springs. In the afternoon drive to Soroti town for overnight at Soroti Hotel/Eneku Village set in a marvelous beautiful soil of Teso Land. Includes: (B), (L), (D).

Day 4: Soroti - Murchison:

An early breakfast ready for a drive to Lira region to look for the Fox weaver bird. After lunch, drive to Murchison via Lira. Overnight at Paraa Safari Lodge/Red Chili.

Day 5: Murchison.

An early breakfast ready for a game drive along Nile Delta to spot huge populations of elephant, buffalo, giraffe, lion, leopard, water buck, and a variety of antelopes. Drive to Pakwach town as well and see one of the oldest bridges in the country. After lunch, a boat trip to the foot of Murchison Falls is extraordinary where you will see the Nile from the bottom angle. Crocodiles, hippos, water bucks and water birds can be seen around. Dinner and overnight at Paraa Safari Lodge/Red Chili. Includes: (B), (L), (D).

Day 6: Murchison - Kibale.

An early start by road for Kibale National Park via Albertine escarpment. Visit the top of Murchison falls before you embark on a drive along the rift valley scenery and section of Lake Albert through out the journey on a good murrum road. The distance is long taking about 8-9 hours. Overnight at Ndali Lodge/Nyinabulitwa Resort. Includes: (B), (L), (D).

Day 7: Kibale - Semuliki.

Early morning trek for chimpanzees. Kibale is the best reserve in Africa to view chimps, a thick jungle with a towering canopy. In the afternoon, drive to the Congo border right under the Rwenzori Mountains, into the Semuliki National Park jungles. Dinner and overnight at Semuliki Safari Lodge/Semliki Bandas. Includes: (B), (L), (D).

Two full days in the closest habitat available in East Africa to true central African jungle. The new Semuliki National Park is lowland, dense forest, with exotic primates, hundreds of bird species and good mammals as well. Its location on the shore of Lake Albert provides excellent shoreline game viewing. Meals and accommodations at the luxurious Semuliki Safari Lodge/Semliki Bandas. Few tourists get into this incredibly beautiful area! Includes: (B), (L), (D).

Day 8: Semuliki/Queen Elizabeth National Park.

This morning drive south into Queen Elizabeth National Park, sightseeing and game viewing en route. Dinner and overnight at spectacular Mweya Lodge /Mweya Hostel perched right on the edge of the escarpment overlooking the Ugandan Great Lakes. Includes: (B), (L), (D).

Day 9: Queen Elizabeth National Park.

Dawn game drive in Uganda's best park, where all the big game can be seen in abundance. Famous for elephant and Kob, expect to see some rare animals like giant forest hog. There are 638 recorded bird species in the park! After lunch, enjoy a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel that connects Lakes Albert and George, for large numbers of buffalo and hippo. Meals and overnight at Mweya Lodge/Mweya Hostel. Includes: (B), (L), (D).

Day 10: Queen Ishasha-Bwindi.

Morning game drive to spot rare Africa climbing lions and other game. Continue on to Bwindi via Ishasha road. This route is famous for the rare tree-climbing lions. Dinner and overnight at Buhoma Lodge/Buhoma Community Bandas. Includes: (B), (L), (D).

Day 11: Bwindi - Lake Bunyonyi.

Early morning entries into gorilla sanctuary after a briefing from park authorities. Carry along with you rain jacket, jungle boots, enough drinking water and snacks. Return to your camp for lunch. Drive to Lake Bunyonyi via Kabale a region popularly known by many tourists as the 'Switzerland of Africa'. The scenery of winding road, hills and valleys, terraced landscape and friendly African people will amaze you. Relaxing the whole afternoon. Dinner and overnight at Heritage Lodge/Bunyonyi Overland Camp. Includes: (B), (L), (D).

Day 12: Lake Bunyonyi - Entebbe.

The day begins with a boat trip for sight seeing and birding along Lake Bunyonyi. Feel the wonders of nature as you will see big terraced hills, big valleys, big everything including people and forests! After lunch, from Mbarara, drive to Kampala. A stop over for photography is a must at equator crossing! Onward transfer to Entebbe Airport. Includes: (B), (L).

*Note: A stop over is made at Nyero Rock paintings near Kumi town on the way to Soroti for excursion the famous earliest rock paintings in Africa which date back to stone age period)
