Your Itinerary:

Day 1: Marrakech. Pick up at the airport at the Marrakech Menara International Airport. Hotel transport depends on time of arrival. Includes: (D).

Day 2: Marrakech-Ouarzazate (200 km). In the morning, depart towards Ouarzazate via Tichka Pass (2260 m), the highest road pass in Morocco. The panoramic views of the High Atlas Mountains and magnificent landscapes and scenery are peppered by the small Berber villages typical of the region. The Anmiter Valley offers several Kasbahs along the way, including Toaurirte and Ait Ben Haddou, a 16th century UNESCO site and one of the best preserved and most spectacular Kasbahs of Morocco. Ait Ben Haddou has been used in many Hollywood films, including the blockbuster film of 2000, Gladiator. Includes: (D).

Day 3: Ouarzazate-M'gouna-Boumalen Dades (150 km). Depart in the morning to Kalaa M'Gouna via the ancient trails of a thousand Kasbahs and the off-road trails of the Rose Valley. El Kelaa is well known for the rose perfume distilled from the petals that grow in the area, hence the name "Rose Valley". Continue to the gorges du Dades, carved out over centuries by the Dades River. The natural scenery of red and mauve rocks tower above the road. Includes: (D).

Day 4: Boulmane Dades-Tinghir-Erfoud (200 km). We head towards Erfoud passing the town of Tinghir, the Oasis, and the Gorges de Todra, another impressive canyon with palm groves and a traditional water reservoir. Includes: (D).

Day 5: Erfoud-Rissani-Merzouga (110 km). We visit the ancient town of Rissani, which thrived from the 8th to the 14th centuries thanks to the caravan routes of the kingdom of Sijilmassa. It was also the home of the Alouite peoples, the early conquerors of all Morocco. Visit the oasis and the Kasbahs. Follow the road to the dunes of Erg Chebb, the famous sand dunes of Merzouga. We recommend an evening camped in the Sahara in the nomad Berber tent - music, stars, dinner in the Sahara. Includes: (D).

Day 6: Merzouga-Zagora (280 km). The road from Merzouga to Zagora offers unbelievably beautiful scenery. Explore the Sahara desert, the Saharan Berber villages, and visit with the nomads along the way to Zagora. Includes: (D).

Day 7: Zagora-Marrakech (360 km). Visit the stunning views of the Draa Valley, lined by Kasbahs, ancient villages (known as ksour), and palm groves. Arrival in Marrakech later in the day. Includes: (D).

Day 8: Marrakech. After breakfast, explore Marrakech's monuments and the historical Mehnara Gardens, Koutoubia Minaret, Saadian Tombs, and the Bahia Palace. Tour Marrakech along the walls of the old medina. Visit the Agdal Gardens, the new Gueliz district, the ancient medina and its markets. Close with the famous Djemaa el Fna Square. In this famous square (as large as a football stadium) you will see sights not unlike a scene from 500 years ago: story tellers, vendors of magic potions, dancers, snake charmers, and acrobats. Includes: (D).

Day 9: Marrakech-Airport. Airport transfer depending on you departure time.
