Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Addis Ababa
Pick you from the airport and transfer to your hotel and then if there is time make a city tour including Merkato-the largest open air market in East Africa, Trinity Chatedral-the magnificent baroque style architecture, Entoto Mountain-highest peak (3,200m) in Addis Ababa. Hotel: Ghion. Includes: (B).
Day 2: Addis Ababa – Bahir Dar
Early morning, fly to Bahir Dar and after check in to your hotel, drive to 30kms from the town to visit and enjoy water fall of the Blue Nile. After lunch break make a boat trip to see some monasteries including Ura Kidanemeheret, Daga Etifanos, Keburan Gebreal. Hotel: Tana. Includes: (B).
Day 3: Bahir Dar – Lalibela
Fly to Lalibela and visit 11th rock hewn churches, defined as the 8th wonder. Hotel: Roha. Includes: (B).
Day 4: Lalibela - Axum
Fly to Axum and visit Axum Tsion church, the Seba bath and palace and the tomb of king Kaleb. Hotel: Yeha. Includes: (B).
Day 5: Axum – Addis Ababa
Fly back to Addis Ababa and if there is time make a city tour of National Museum: the cast of the 3.2 million years old “LUCY” and then transfer to the air port. Hotel: No. Includes: (B).
