Your Itinerary:
Day 1: You will be met on arrival and transferred by our experienced guide to your Nairobi Hotel for the night. Nairobi is Kenya's principal economic, administrative, and cultural center and is one of the largest and fastest growing cities in Africa. Manufactures include processed food, textiles, clothing, building materials, and communications and transportation equipment. The city also has a large tourist industry. You will spend your night at Nairobi Safari Club or similar.
Day 2: Our guide will pick you up from Nairobi and transfer you to Samburu Serena. Offers unique vistas of rounded, rugged hills and undulating plains. The mix of wood and grassland with riverine forest and swamp home to a wide variety of animal and bird life, Buffalo Springs records over 365 species of bird. Game viewing and visibility is excellent: Reticulated Giraffe, Grevy’s Zebra, elephant, oryx, Somali Ostrich, hippo, crocodile, gerenuk, buffalo, lion, leopard, cheetah and hyena. Arrive in time for lunch at your hotel. Enjoy your afternoon game drive at Samburu National Reserve.
Dinner and over night at Samburu Serena Lodge or similar.
Day 3: Enjoy your early morning and afternoon game drives at Samburu National Reserve. Meals to be served at Samburu Serena or similar on Full board basis.
Day 4: You will be transferred after your morning breakfast to Sweet waters Tented Camp. A sheltered oasis, clustered around a waterhole and set in the pristine calm of its own private reserve, Sweet waters Tented Camp is in a class of its own. Abounding with wildlife, unfettered by the more rigorous strictures of the Kenyan National Parks and designed to offer a charming blend of under canvas ambiance and uncompromising luxury, and still for the most part zoologically unexplored. Arrive in time for lunch at Amboseli Sopa lodge. Enjoy your afternoon Game drive. Dinner and overnight at Amboseli Sopa Lodge or similar.
Day 5: Depart after breakfast for Lake Nakuru National Park. Lake Nakuru is a very shallow strongly alkaline lake 62 km2 in extent. It is set in a picturesque landscape of surrounding woodland and grassland next to Nakuru town. Lake Nakuru hosts thousands of pink flamingos. Enjoy your view with your private guide and vehicle. Dinner and over night at Lake Nakuru Sarova Lodge or similar
Day 6: The Masai Mara National Reserve is administered by the local county council. It is probably the most famous and most visited reserve in Kenya. It offers breathtaking views (seen in the film "Out of Africa", much of which was filmed here) an extraordinary density of animals including the “Big Five” and many varieties of plains game. You will arrive in time for lunch at Mara Serena Lodge. Dinner and over night at Mara Serena Lodge or similar.
Day 7: Day of game viewing with your skilled guide. A dawn drive and afternoon drive for 2-3 hours each, or ask your driver to take you on a full day drive with a picnic lunch. Sign up for optional activities at your lodge (not included in tour price), hot air balloon ($460 per person), guided nature walk ($40 per person), or other.
Day 8: Depart after breakfast for Nairobi. You will be transferred to carnivore for your farewell dinner. There after transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your inbound flight back home.
