Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival to Simon Bolivar airport, Maiquetia, Venezuela. Airport assistance. Connecting flight to Bogotá, the capital city of Colombia at 2600 meters (8530.1837 feet) above sea level and which is quickly becoming one of the Latin American urban highlights with more than 7 million inhabitants. Transfer after arrival to Hotel Abadía Colonial located in the old historical district of La Candelaria surrounded by plenty of cafes, museums and churches.

Day 2: Breakfast at Hotel Abadía Colonial. Today we’ll enjoy a City Tour beginning with a ride on the cable car to the peak of Cerro Monserrate at 3160 meters (10.367 feet) asl, from which you can get a great view of Bogotá and its surroundings. We will then walk trough the historical suburb of La Candelaria with its old churches and colonial style houses, its Plaza Bolivar and stunning Cathedral. We will also visit the Museo del Oro (The Gold Museum) and Fernando Botero's permanent exhibition at the Banco de la República. Lunch on your own. Dinner at Restaurante Casa Brava overlooking the fascinating city of Bogotá. Overnight at Hotel Abadía Colonial in the old district of La Candelaria. Hotel Abadia Colonial in la Candelaria district.

Day 3: Breakfast. Transfer to the airport and flight to Santa Marta at 11am. Arrival at 12pm. Airport assistance and transfer to Tayrona National Park by the Caribbean coast of Colombia. This region was once home to the Tayronian indians and some archeological treasures still remain in the park. One hour hike into the forest until the beach of Arrecifes. At our arrival there, we will check in at Cabañas Arrecife, comfortable and charming wooden cabins with fans and private bathrooms. Dinner and Lunch not included. Day 4: After breakfast we will enjoy a leisure day hike to the pristine beaches of El Cabo San Juan de la Guia surrounded by palm trees and calm waters. Relax on the sand near the reefs. Lunch and dinner on your own. Overnight at Cabañas Arrecife. Pristine beaches of Tayrona.

Day 5: After breakfast we will hike back for an hour to the Tayrona National Park entrance, then we will go to Cartagena de Indias by car going through Santa Marta and Barranquilla. Lunch on own en route. Arrival to Cartagena with the sunset. Leisure night on your own. Enjoy the restaurants recommended by your guides. Check in and overnight at Hostal San Diego located in the Old Town.

Day 6: Early breakfast at 645am. Transfer to the tourist dock of Cartagena. Boat trip to Corales del Rosario National Park, you can witness a stunning 27 small coral island archipelago with turquoise and blue waters. We will navigate through the Cartagena Bay passing between the Bateria de San José and Fuerte de San Fernando spanish forts. After that we will visit the Oceanarium Aquarium or snorkel for an hour and will go for a tasty lunch at Playa Blanca on Isla Barú. Boat ride back by 4pm to Cartagena's dock and transfer to Hostal San Diego in the Old Town. Cartagena’s old town. Oceanarium.

Day 7: After breakfast we will visit San Felipe de Barajas and hike around the walled city, with no other activity in Cartagena so you can shop around, interact with the locals and visit interesting museums. Lunch on your own. Flight back to Venezuela via Bogotá at 5pm, arrival by midnight. Airport assistance upon arrival and overnight at Hotel Santiago.

Day 8: Transfer to the airport at 545am. Flight from Caracas to Puerto Ordaz and connecting flight to Canaima National Park at 9am. The Angel Falls are located impenetrably deep inside Canaima National Park. Your tour begins with an impressive flight in a light aircraft to the camp, close to the Laguna de Canaima, from which you can see the beautiful Hacha Falls. After a tasty lunch in the indigenous village you will be taken across the lagoon and past the Hacha falls in a small boat. From this side of the lagoon you will walk along the pink sand banks and up, through the jungle, to the majestic Sapo Falls. From here you can swim in the lake before walking up through the jungle and behind the falls and enjoy the scenery through the powerful curtain of water. Dinner at the camp before falling asleep in beds to the sound of crickets. Sapo Falls.

Day 9: After breakfast at the camp you will walk through the jungle before taking a motorized canoe along the Carrao and the Churún Rivers, to the spectacular Angel falls. As you travel along the rivers you have time to take in the lush scenery and the dramatic Tepuys and enjoy a light lunch. Only when you arrive at Devil's Canyon can you see the Angel Falls cascading over 1km from the top of the Auyán-Tepuy to the Rio Churún. From here you will walk up through the jungle for an hour to the Mirador Laime vantage point and then down to the rock pools near the base of the falls where you can swim in the fresh water. That night you will eat a delicious, freshly prepared meal at a camp close to the falls before falling asleep in your hammock to the sound of the falls. Angel Falls seen from the base camp.

Day 10: After breakfast and coffee at the camp you will travel back down the river to the first camp where you will eat lunch before taking a final flight over the jungle to Puerto Ordaz. Connecting flight to Caracas at 430pm. Arrival at 6pm. Transfer to Buena Vista Inn by the airport for overnight. Aerial view of Archipelago Los Roquest.

Day 11: Early flight from Caracas to Los Roques National Park. Upon our arrival we will transfer by boat to Dos Mosquises Island, located to the south of the archipelago. The waters surrounding the island make for a delightful morning of snorkeling and diving. Here, Fundación Los Roques has developed a Caribbean Turtle preservation program. During our visit we will learn about this fascinating project, and be able to see the facility where the turtles are bred. Following lunch on Dos Mosquises we will take a little time to relax and enjoy the beach before a local key where we will enjoy the superb blue waters of this paradise archipelago. You can go snorkeling where you will get our first good look at this astounding underwater world. We will see many different Caribbean fish and magical coral reefs. Lunch on they key. Late in the afternoon we will return to Gran Roque where we will have dinner and overnight at Posada Doña Carmen. Cayo de Agua.

Day 12: Breafkast. Leisure day on your own. You can join one of our snorkeling or diving tours or simply relax on another key as optional. Lunch on your own. Dinner and overnight at Posada La Doña Carmen.

Day 13: Breakfast. Leisure day on your own. Flight to Caracas at 5pm. Airport assistance and transfer to Buena Vista Inn by the airport.

Day 14: Transfer to the airport. End of service.
