Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrival to Addis Ababa, transfer to hotel, city tour.
Day 2: Flight to Axum, Archaeological, cultural and religious centre of Ethiopia, after transfer to hotel we will visit the city, the first capital of Ethiopia.
Day 3: Drive to Yeha Temple which is made in the 5th BC and continue to the Monastery of Debre Damo where it is possible, for men only, to climb with rope the mountain having 15 m. high and visit the church on top. Over night in Axum.
Day 4: Flight to Lalibela, centre of Christian religion, considered with its 11 rock hewn churches, the Jerusalem of Ethiopia. Visit of the churches. Over night Lalibela in a hotel.
Day 5: In the morning Mule back trekking to Ashten Mariam church. Overnight in Lalibela.
Day 6: Flight to Gondar, visit the city with its interesting 17th century castles and churches. Overnight in hotel.
Day 7: Transfer to Simien Mountains National Park, well known as the roof of Africa, where it is possible to see endemic birds and mammals. Return to Gondar and over night in hotel.
Day 8: Drive to Bahir Dar. In the afternoon boat trip on Lake Tana to visit the Island Monasteries. Overnight in Tana hotel.
Day 9: Early in the morning drive to the Blue Nile Falls. After noon visit the market and hippos on Blue Nile River. Over night hotel.
Day 10: Flight to Addis Ababa. Overnight in a hotel.
Day 11: Transfer to the airport and return home.
