Day 1, Nov 7: Departure You will leave the USA for your flight to Bali on a late night flight. The adventure begins! Day 2, Nov 8: In Flight Due to the international dateline, you will lose this day. However, you will regain it on the return flight. (Meals on Flight) Day 3, Nov 9: Bali - Pemuteran Today you will arrive into Bali. You will be met by your guide and taken Pemuteran. You will stop at Tanahlot temple along the way. View the temple from the clifftop. Upon arrival into Petuteran you can relax. You might want to take a walk to a nearby hill top for a gorgeous sunset. The rest of the day is free. Day 4, Nov 10: Pemuteran This morning you will have some time at leisure. Then you will experience some of the spa treatments (own expense). Day 5, Nov 11: Pemuteran - Menjangan Island – Lovina After breakfast at the hotel, be ready for a snorkeling tour to Menjangan Island. It is a part of Bali Barat National Park, and well known for its magnificent underwater world. It offers deep coral reef walls and is one of Bali 's best diving and snorkeling sites. Menjangan also has a wreck, known as the 'Anker' because of its heavily encrusted anchor at the top of the reef. The island is reached by a 30 minutes boat ride from Labuan Lalang. Day 6, Nov 12: Pemuteran Free day at the beach & enjoying your accommodation. Day 7, Nov 13: Pemuteran –Ubud You will have a leisurely morning and then you will be picked up by your guide and driver. Then we will drive you in the afternoon to the Ubud. On the way you will visit the Munduk waterfall, Twin Lake & the Lake Temple. Upon arrival into Ubud you will be transferred to your hotel. You will have some time for dinner on your own (own expense). Tonight you will be taken to a local cultural show. This is the traditional Balinese Hindu dance of the battle between Good and Evil, the Barong and Rhanga. This dance also involves several other characters and is the main dance which in its purest religious form leads to its participants going into trances. Includes: (B, L). Day 8, Nov 14: Ubud –White Water Rafting, Elephant Safari (Optional) This morning is free. Afternoon: You will have an afternoon of White Water Rafting. Enjoy the best of Bali with a whitewater rafting adventure on the spectacular Ayung River - an unforgettable journey through lush jungle scenery and deep river gorges led by Indonesia’s top rafting professionals.Our journey takes you through tropical rain forest, breathtaking waterfalls and wild countryside on this exciting adventure. Next you will take a bike ride through the beautiful nature and return to Ubud. Morning Option: This morning you can take an elephant safari. Acclaimed as the World's Best Elephant Park, facilities include a full Reception and Information Centre, a comprehensive Museum, with a large collection of elephant memorabilia and the only Mammoth Skeleton in South East Asia. A visit to the Elephant Safari Park is a must for any visitor to Bali. Get up close and personal with these incredible animals in a beautiful tropical park setting. Elephants can be seen immersing themselves in the park lake, in between riding, painting or other activities. Hand feed them, touch them, take photos with them, then learn more about the elephants ancestry and diversity at the Park's historical and graphic displays.
