Desert Tour: The Dese, Israel and Jordan. During this tour we will experience the desert by 4wd, camel and foot, the most romantic, exciting and inspiring way to uncover the secrets and magic of the desert. Participants should prt. Tour takes place in the golden red sea triangle: Egypt (Sinai) Lan on arriving in Eilat, Israel or Aqaba Jordan the night before the tour begins. Hotel accommodations in either Eilat or Aqaba can be arranged by M14329 travel.

Tour Itinerary:

Jordan

Day 1: We board 4x4 jeeps, driven by professional bedouin drivers and journey to the sandstone area of Wadi Rum. Here we go off-road into its unique landscape and get right off the beaten track to explore rarely traveled ancient merchant routes. Lunch is enjoyed En Route in the great outdoors. We have our first hike in Wadi Rum. Next, we continue off-road through Rum and in the evening reach a Bedouin hospitality camp. Here we enjoy our evening meal and settle for the night in a guest tent. In Rum we have the opportunity to observe the awe-inspiring arabian night-skies and the mysterious and enchanting views of Wadi Rum.

Day 2: Following breakfast with the Bedouins we board our 4x4s and head for the Jordanian Dead Sea area. Here we begin an extraordinary two-day canyon hike through Wadi Zered, an amazing adventure through hot and cold natural springs. We spend our first night in tents in the desert. Overnight tents under the stars.

Day 3: We continue our 2nd day on a hike through the incredible 600ft deep canyon of Wadi Arnon between water pools springs and ruins of roman baths. We then make our way to Eilat, Israel. Overnight Eilat.

Israel

Day 4: We start an early morning 2-day hike through the Eilat mountains. Our hike begins at Canyon Shoret as we enter a geological time machine jumping back hundreds of millions of years in each and every step. Overnight tents under the stars with a special poyke pot dinner.

Day 5: Early outdoor breakfast and we begin a downhill hike from the mountains to the Coral Beach National Park, a place where the mountains kiss the sea. Once here, we will enjoy snorkeling adventure among the coral and sea life. Overnight Eilat.

Day 6: Our final day will be spen hiking the multicolored Machtesh Ramon, or crater, a geological phenomenon that exists only in the Sinai Peninsual. Overnight Eilat.

Days 7-9: Early in the moring we cross the border to Egypt and drive through the Sinai Desert to the village of St. Katerine where we will begin a life changing and unforgettable experience: a 3-day hiking tour through the Sinai Desert. We hike with light backpacks through the magnificent red granite mountains of Sinai's high range.Camel handlers carry all our equipment and supplies and meet us each evening to set up camp.This allows us to carry in our packs only what is necessary for the day’s hike.

We visit En-Route beautiful and ancient monasteries, bedouin orchards, oases, waterfalls and rock pools, all accessible only on foot. The incredible panoramic views of the high range span the whole of the Sinai peninsula, the mountains of north Africa, the Gulf ofSuez, the Gulf of Aqaba and over to northern Saudi Arabia. We ascend many summits such as mt. Catherine, mt. Sinai and Jabel Bab. At the end of of this incredible three day experience we head back to Eilat where we enjoy our final night celebrating new year’s eve. Overnight Eilat.
