Starting in the stunning city of Krakow you will then head off to lesser known parts for a truly unique and relaxing tour. You will be driven between towns by private transfers with our English speaking drivers, also included in this tour are sightseeing tours by our local guides. Flights are not included in the price - as flight prices change so frequently we try and get you the best deal possible at the point of booking.
Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrival in Krakow, where you will be met by your private transfer to a centrally located 3* hotel in Krakow, where you will stay for 3 nights. Over night: 3* Hotel in Krakow.
Day 2: 10:00 am - you will be met in reception at your hotel for a private 3 hour walking tour of the old town. This is a great way to get to know the city and your bearings, the tour will include visiting such wonderful sights such as Wawel Castle, the old town and the Jewish District. PM: Explore Krakow at your leisure. Krakow is a stunningly beautiful city. For centuries it was the royal capital of Poland, this high status drew artists, musicians, writers and thinkers from all over the world to come and live in this lovely city. The result was a city rich in culture and for us a legacy of wonderful architecture and places of interest. Over night: 3* Hotel in Krakow.
Day 3: Enjoy Krakow at your leisure. Over night: 3* Hotel in Krakow.
Day 4: At the hotel reception you will be met by our driver/ guide for your private transfer to Sandomierz. You will spend the afternoon visiting the old town of Sandomierz. This charming town overlooks the Vistula River, with its fine historic buildings and quaint atmosphere this is a lovely place to visit. After your visit to Sandomierz your private transfer will take you on to Kazimierz Dolny, where you will be staying at a 3* star hotel for one night. Over night: 3* Hotel in Kazimerz Dolny.
Day 5: AM: Enjoy Kazimierz Dolny, this beautiful town with its lovely architecture is a very picturesque place and very popular with artists. In the summer months painters with their easels are a common sight. The town was founded in the 14th century by King Kazimierz Wielki who built its castle. The town has strong historical links with the Jewish population, who in the 19th century formed an expanding and important part of the community. Private transfer to Pulawy and a sightseeing tour of Czartoryski's Palace. Pulawy was made an important centre of art, politics and intellectual life when the aristocratic Czartoryski family built their Palace there in 1676. Then its on, by private transfer, to Naleczow, where you will be staying at a 3* hotel for one night. Naleczow is a lovely spa town here you can relax for an evening - and maybe treat your self to a massage or two! Over night: 3* Hotel in Naleczow.
Day 6: AM: Enjoy Naleczow at your leisure. 12:00 - meet your driver for your private transfer to Lublin. Enjoy a sightseeing tour of Lublin with our local guide. The Lublin Upland stretches up to the Ukrainian border and Lublin has been an important town in Poland, probably as it is located so close to the Ukrainian border, at times in history Lublin has played a decisive role over the fate of Poland! It has a pleasant well preserved old town, with an interesting mix of Renaissance, Gothic and Baroque architecture. Then its off to Zamosc to a 3* hotel where you will spent one night. Over night: 3* Hotel in Zamosc.
Day 7: AM: Enjoy Zamosc at your leisure. Zamosc is known as the Pearl of the Renaissance. This is a very special place and was included on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1992. There are over one hundred monuments of architectural and artistic importance to enjoy. Designed in the 16th century Zamosc remains virtually unchanged today. Private transfer back to Krakow via Krasiczyn Castle. On the last night of your tour visiting some of Polands hidden places, enjoy Krakow again for one night. Over night: 3* centrally located hotel in Krakow.
Day 8: Check out of your hotel for your private transfer back to Krakow Airport. End of your Hidden Places Tour.
