Day 1: Arrive in Beijing. Our tour guide will wait you at the exit of the airport holding a brand with your name before your landing. Then transfer you to your hotel by private car or van. Our experienced tour guide would like to introduce you city summary and some tips on the way. You could have a rest to recover from jet lag after arrive at your hotel or to explore by yourself.
Day 2: Beijing. Full day trip to the Great Wall, Ming Tomb. Go to visit famous cloisonne factory or jade factory on the way to Great Wall. Badaling is situated at the very top of the mountain to the north of Guangou Valley. There is a narrow path leading to the top of the two precipitous mountains. The Badaling Great wall is built in between two mountains and was constructed to be a communications center. North of Badaling, you can travel to Kangzhuang, Huailai, datong and Zhangjiakou; to the east, you can reach Yongning, Sihai and Miyun; to the south you can go to Beijing city proper via Changping, Since the traffic is nice, so it is called Badaling (Eight Prominent Peaks).
The Ming Tomb: the tombs of 13 Ming dynasty emperors and their consorts are scattered in a gorgeous valley 45 km northwest of Beijing, all but three of the Ming emperors lies in Nanjing, the tomb of the second emperor remains unknown as he had his throne usurped by his uncle and another emperor was considered illegitimate and wasn’t given the honor of an imperial tomb. Enjoy a Chinese typical dinner. In the evening (7:15~8:30 pm), enjoy the Chinese Acrobat, or Chinese Kongfu show, choose one show from these three options, depending on your interest. Day 3: Beijing. Full day trip to the Tian'anmen Square, the Forbidden City, and the Temple of Heaven. The Tian'anmen Square: the largest downtown square in the world. The Forbidden City, the abode of 24 Ming and Qing emperors of the celestial Empire, the forbidden city is a fittingly awe-inspiring sight. Enclosed behind it’s moat and 9.9 m high walls are 980 buildings, vast courtyards and long corridors that occupy a total area of 720,000 square meters. It’s alleged that as many as 1,000,000 workers and 100,000 artisans participated in the construction of this imperial palace, which began in 1406 and was completed in 1420 during the reign of Ming dynasty, the last emperor Puyi, left the Forbidden city in 1924,11 years after his abdication and the establishment of the Republic of China, after Puyi’s departure, the Forbidden city, which had long been off-limits to most mortals, was opened to the public, Hence its current Chinese name, gugong bowuyuan, meaning "the palace Museum".
The Temple of Heaven: The temple of heaven served Ming and Qing dynasty emperors as a vast sacred space to perform ceremonial rites on behalf of the Chinese nation, the layout of the compound reflects its religious purpose and so adheres to geomantic precepts, for instance, the northern end of the park is curved while the southern end is square, reflecting the traditional Chinese conception of heaven as round and earth as square. Likewise, the park gates are located at the four cardinal points. Transfer back to the hotel. Includes: (B), (L).
Day 4: Beijing to Dunhuang. Pick you up from your hotel at 08:30 am. Be transferred to Beijing Hutong. A tour to Beijing Rear Lake area (Shi Cha Lake). Visitors will be arranged to visit the old Beijing lanes by rickshaws bicycle ride, across many narrow streets, Hutong tour lasts for about 2 hours, led by local guide, visitors will visit the typical Chinese quadrangles, where you can experience the real life of ordinary people live in Beijing, and pass many famous old building, like the drum tower, Silver Bridge, etc. Visit the Summer Palace, is a wonderful place to explore, as long ago as the Yuan dynasty, officials set up their private gardens in the scenic area, but the summer palace didn’t take on its present appearance until the reign of Emperor Qianlong of the Qing dynasty. He deepened the park’s manmade lake and added building to serve as a "country home" for his mother, though it would be the Empress Dowager Cixi who would have the biggest impact on the palace’s appearance. Transfer you to the airport, take flight to Dunhuang. Includes: (B), (L).
Day 5: Dunhuang. Full day tour to visit Yumenguan Pass, Yadan Landform Park/The Evil City, Great Wall of the Han Dynasty. Includes: (B), (L).
Day 6: Dunhuang to overnight train. Visit the Mogao Grottoes, the Crescent Lake and Echoing-Sand Mountain. Transfer to Train station, take soft bed train to Turpan. Includes: (B), (L).
Day 7: Overnight train to Turpan. Pick up you from train station to Hotel, Karez Well, Tuyoq Village and Tuyugou Canyon, Suleiman's Minaret, Pass through the Flaming Mountain. Includes: (B), (L).
Day 8: Turpan to overnight train. Visit Jiaohe Ruin. Transfer you from hotel to train station. Includes: (B), (L).
Day 9: Overnight train to Kashgar. Pickup from Train station to Hotel, visit Kashgar Old Town, Sunday bazaar, Id Kah Mosque. Includes: (B), (L).
Day 10: Kashgar. Visit the Lake Karakuli, Pass to Lake Kalakuli. Includes: (B), (L).
